No changes, except KH should have a hell of a lot more days than 29....

nope, not that i recall, him and sjnap switched leads several times, he may be over 29 currrently, anyone know when sjnap most recently lost his spot?

Maybe categorize the speed players too Blitzy.... I played 8s to get there and team to milk it. Snapo gained most of his points in casual freestyle team. I suppose he did play quite a few speeds when wen were battling it out but it was prolly 99% team games.

When i made it to Conqueror first time I did it by seq games. Most of these sequantial games were 6 and 8 sequantial escalating games. So not by freestyle teamgames.
Later on to reach my topscore i did it by mostly freestyle teamgames idd.
But i thought this thread was about getting conqueror ?!

Sorry Snapo-- I was referring to when I was Conqueror. At that time, you were all casual free and speed teams.

I just forgot to update it, it was around early to mid april and I have around 100 games, think 101

I just forgot to update it, it was around early to mid april and I have around 100 games, think 101 now on July 20th

kh lost it on 8-14-09, so 101 + july 21 to 31st is 10 days, then august 1 to aug 13 is another 12 days , that's 22, so 101 + 22 = 123

Sorry..i have to make a correction to your statement...when i got the first time conqueror i didnt get there by feestyle
I played at that time 90 % of single escalating games with topplayers like comic boy, scotty, blitzy, poo etc etc.
to raise up my topscore and to maintain in the top i idd used freestyle..because its almost not done to do it with sequantial game!

Fact is that, even though the strategy in sequential teamgames or escalating games for instance is way more interesting than in freestyle 1v1, it is not possible to achieve a winning percentage of 99% in sequential, whereas this is very possible in freestyle 1v1.

I think the only thing that could possible be done about this is by separating the scoreboard into a freestyle and a sequential one, where every player has 2 separate scores.

however I don't see this happening any time soon, so I share your concerns.

Back again with the wit. There's no harm in imagining an age when the strongest tactics are where they should be- the very top of the scoreboard. You may have some people fooled (though I imagine it's simply because you are a "likable" fellow and people like to boost up their friends) but tactically you've never been a top player and never will be. I can stomach someone like sjnap maintaining conqueror through freestyle because he's actually a top 5 or 10 player unlike yourself. Well, anyway, you are right that it is probably a false hope but one can dream. Later.

Hmm...well might we see the freestyle 1on1 merchants dropping back now with the elimination of the double turn rule?

Has the age of the seq. trips quads merchants returned?

Interesting times ahead I suspect.

(btw I am genuinely unclear about to what extent freestyle players - especially 1on1, 2on2 - relied on the double turn for those insane win rates)
