i've played alotta players in the top 20 and most are good(exceptional) at what they do.I think only a few of them are versatile and play all games on all maps/settings however.Any1 can become great at what they do when they do it on the same maps/settings for years on end.* there are but a few in the top 20 that dont play freestyle.

it's all opinion Prank.. the term exceptional is self explanatory but it can be overused, like the term 'Great' .. heh or even 'Elite' .. But elite is less transcendent of time, it is based rigidly within the epoch, whereas 'exceptional' can bear respect to the sum understanding of talent.

I think only a small minority of all players could ever reach the top 20 but within that small minority there are individuals who we know to be another level again.. whether it be concentration, application, or raw intellect (of a kind) which enables them to be consistently better.
I think those who peer past the petty pursuit of points (had to get in one example of alliteration), know which these players are.

The question is, how many are in the the top 20 now? there may be none .. hey maybe it is a bloody bad crop ;)

Sorry jiminski, I wasn't offended anyway. I really do think my stats are odd, especially since DAT_WAT_SHE_SAID can beat me so easily at the game I currently specialize in and I really do have the longest losing steak.

I think your doing quite good considering you mainly play 1 vs 1, which most people believe is just pure luck!!

All the speed freestylers that i've encountered have been very good at what they do(poo in particular),the others that i've played from the top 20 have been good but nothing outstanding,i would say there are a good many better players in the top 100 but because they open themselves up to all different maps and game styles they'll struggle to make the top 20.

Of the 20 in that list I've played 9 that I know of recently. I'm not a new recruit or cook so most of them will avoid me. Nor do i play freestyle ( the ruin of this site, imo).

Here's my verdict of the 9 I've played

scott-land - average seq esc player, calls out moves he either doesn't understand or are detrimental to his plans. Ignore this and do not be intimidated, and you will wipe the floor with him. Also liable to rant nonsensically, when challenged he will stfu!

seulessliathan - his dice are certainly exceptional in team games, only joking. Brilliant all round player, will match you move for move.

velvecarrots - never played him in teams but a solid seq esc player, with a few tricks up his sleeve.

mhennigan - seemed extremely good, with some very cunning strategy. One of the best.

lt pie, Rashid jelzin, jcking and i've forgot who the other two were all seemed unremarkable.

If seq esc is still the benchmark for good play on this site.? There are two players not far off the top 20 that I'd rate above all of these. Both british.

1 sjnap - good player
2 Scott-Land - shady singles play ( freestyle/speed games only to exploit speed script ) refuses challenges to play 1 vs 1's
3 poo-maker - good player
4 King_Herpes - not sure why we would drop games just to have all new recruits to join. I dont have a problem with playing new recruits, but dropping games on purpose ?
5 SkyT - busted for cheating
6 rabbiton - never played
7 Warsteiner- busted for cheating
8 maxatstuy - busted for cheating
9 Buizerd- never played
10 fantasianasian- never played
11 skillerman- never played
12 Seulessliathan- too many team games playing with friends from Germany that he knows in real life/team turn taking ( account babysitting abuse )
13 mhennigan- never played......I may have...dont recall
14 lt.pie - can play team games but im not sure whats going on with these waterloo games
15 Thomas.Paine- never played
16 RashidJelzin- shady singles play ( freestyle/speed games only to exploit speed script )
17 JCKing- never played
18 General Mojo - never played
19 Gwaahjo- never played
20 Velvecarrots- good team player

some of these players are no longer in the active top 20. Im sure there are 20 better players on this site than the 20 listed here.

He's chasing medals - those games are the most efficient (in terms of playing time required) in picking up unique assassin and terminator uniques.

I got bored after reading the bit about King Herpes which is a refelction of JRs tactics and the first 2 players he said he never played and actually did .
Scott-land may exploit the speed script ,but you exploit the masses of new recruits with your extensive foe list .Everyone with a relatively high rank has an angle .
