Id like to challeneg that. Xeno means stranger or foreinger.

I googled it, and found it.

WTF? I thought we were playing in english, not greek prefixes

Edit: fix quotes

It can be still classified as english since we use that word, even though it derived from greece.

Just popped my head into this thread...

Prefixes aren't words. They're prefixes.

Just my two cents.

Excuse my butting in but I'm compelled to second [third] this.

Prefixes are word "parts" not words themselves. That's why when you isolate prefixes there is always a "dash" to indicate it is a prefix e.g. pre-, post-, xeno-

When i looked it up it was noted as a prefix so I didn't challenge it. But when another challenged it and it got accepted, I thought "Oh, well.''

Dictionary.com does not have a listing for 'arbit', so I concur with william18 that it should not count.

aye, he's correct. I looked it up on google and got wikitionary:

http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/arbit

Indian slang shouldn't count, you're just trying to get out of having to write "arbiter".

That's right--only english words and you yourself wrote in the first post that proper nouns aren't counted. Trying to get out of getting that letter will probably make everyone stop playing.
