surely he lived with both and he did not falter. Thusly i disagree with your explanation.
yes but how far did Luke go compared to Aniken?
well if you consider the extended universe quite a bit farther really.
But the emperor wasn't there in EU so the variables have changed extremely.

I think viewed in that light, they can be alright.
Shit. I knew you went to my school. God i love my brother.

it still doesnt change that a number of jedi were able to live outside of elements of the old code and still remain true to the light side of the force. I mean given everything that happened because of Vergere you could probably argue much of the old code wasnt a delinator between light and dark.
Somehow the jedi found a way around dealing with something outside the force without them all going to shit. I find it hard to believe those two provisions control light and dark.

Well obviously. It's not like the movies were
that bad. It's just that I expected a little bit of quality and instead I got 3 movies by the special-effects guy employed by GL.

Uh, no, I wasn't. Zoolander is a movie, the worst fucking movie in history. As this thread is about horrible movies, I posted Zoolander, the worst fucking movie in history. f*ck I hate Zoolander.
Never watched it. But I disagree because I like disagreeing.
Go slap yourself. Zoolander is a godawful film. I hate Hollywood slapstick comedies.

I agree the release of Episodes I, II and III turned out to be bittersweet.
They kinda suck, but they're still almost like Star Wars. But not really.
In A New Hope Lucas gave us a flawless cast of characters created with
make-up and puppetry. With Phantom Menace he used the latest
computer technology to give us a pile of crap characters that don't look
like they are where they are supposed to be and definitely don't look
like they're in the same world as the human actors.
That being said, I'm sure I saw Superman Returns in the last six months and could not tell you anything about what happened in it.
So, how can new Batman be so good and new Superman so crap?

Me too. But there are so many horrendous movies to choose from.
What about Gigli? Or Freddy got fingered? The Adventures of Pluto Nash? White Chicks? Showgirls?
