Jay and Silent Bob strike back is an extremely funny movie, but my pick would have to be Mad Max 2 (Road warrior for all you yanks)
The perfect movie.

Personally, I hate people who laugh at dumb comedies. I can't understand why something in sophomoric humor is funny at all. But, that's just me.

My favorites...
Boondock Saints
Clerks (Yet to see II, but I really want to)
Fight Club
Batman Begins
Star Wars series
Lord of the Rings series
SLC Punk
Scary Movie series (Yes, I realize a lot of the humor is lame, but they have their moments. 3 & 4 are so different from the originals)
UNDEAD (Go watch this movie. I am not kidding you. This is the funniest movie I have ever seen, and that means a LOT coming from me)

The main thing is there are so many movies I still haven't seen, but have never gotten the opportunity to see. I love movies though. If anyone has any recommendations along the lines of clever humor, would you please let me know? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Man on Fire (favorite line "One last wish?" "What?" "Don't I get a last wish?" "yeah.... I wish you had more time.." Hilarious and COLD!

Anyone seen The Island? Really good movie

The Immortal the cinematography in this movie is phenomenal! And the Anime mixed in with the real characters was incredible.. Never got the point of the story but for visual footage it was HOT!

Alexander I really enjoyed this one.

There are some TERRIBLE films in this list!

Someone help me find my faith in humanity please.

12 Angry Men = bona fide classic, whoever it was that listed Adam Sandler and Jim Carey films as the greatest ever.. man.

Star Wars SERIES? First 3 are fun, the last 3 are excruciating!

Casino is brilliant.

Mafia: Casino. Or The Godfather series.

Crime: The Usual Suspects

Sci-fi Action: Aliens

Sci-fi: Blade Runner

Mystery: Donnie Darko

War: Platoon

Action: The Matrix

Drama: A ma Souer! (also candidate for: Most Shocking Ending Ever, Best Foreign Language Film, Most Underage Sex In A Legal Film and Film Least Likely To Help You Score On A Date)

Foreign Language: Old Boy and Hero. It's a tie.

Comedy: Dr Strangelove

Horror: Saw

Western: The Good, The Bad And The Ugly

Musical: Moulin Rouge. Also the best date movie ever. Because you ARE better looking than Ewan McGregor and she'll notice.

And as I can't really think of one stand-out film to be my 'best movie ever', I'll just pick the one I normally do...
