Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! Very good movie from 1965, and if you feel like watching something truly hilarious, One, Two, Three from 1961 is a top-choice.

Yeah, it's old, 1949, but one of the greatest endings ever produced...
...Made it, Ma! Top of the world!...
I hated that movie. I agree the ending was quite something, but it was quite frankly boring, and way too long.
Better old crime movies are:
The Third Man
The Lady from Shanghai
A Touch of Evil
Basically anything involving Orson Welles. I'll add to this later as more come to mind.
On to my favorite movies. Excuse the double post.
-Donnie Darko
-Delicatessen
-The City of Lost Children
-A Very Long Engagement
-Amélie
-The Third Man
-Every single Coen Brothers movie, ever (If you don't know who they are, that includes No Country For Old Men, Fargo, The Big Lebowski, O Brother Where Art Thou, Blood Simple, Miller's Crossing, The Hudsucker Proxy, and others I'm forgetting)
-Brazil
-Blade Runner
-The Silence of the Lambs
-The Usual Suspects
-Memento
-Lost In Translation
-LA Confidential
-The Battle for Algiers
-Welcome to Collinwood
-Good Will Hunting
-The Conformist
Also will edit as more come to mind.

I only saw that for the first time 2 nights ago. That shit is scary. I've never heard 9 year olds talk about ANYTHING in that matter before, let alone dying for christ.
I'm sure the correct term for that religion is 'cult' - it makes most christians look good
