I do think D1 tends to involve a lot of blind staggering about for those who are starting of with no information. On a related note, does anyone have any information, partial or otherwise, that they might want to share? Obviously I'm not asking anyone to expose themselves and their roles fully, but it could end up being helpful down the line.

Since Day 1 Town Intel (other than one's own role and PRs) is a rare thing at best, your asking for it is slightly suss (...and you have no noob credit left)
But whomever actually answers is really suss, because that is the perfect invitation for scum to start lie-claiming misinformation.

Though of course, in the other Game That Shall Not Be Named, Day 1 intel reveals seem to have become a proud and stalwart tradition...

I must admit I have forgotten my role more times than I may admit.

If that was what you were trying to do, it came across really differently. You can see how it came across to me in my post where I voted you. The alternative to what you suggested is not sitting in the corner awaiting answers. That's just childish. Otherwise, I wouldn't be pointing my finger and voting you. I'm a good vote because I'm low down on the proven ability list.

What's been portrayed as crazy from previous games was actually trying to apply game theories to games I had little/no experience of.

Adaptation based on experiences has probably taken away from your crazy perception of me.

Sorry about that but I'd still be a good vote if you want to go for low on proven ability.

Don't quite know how to copy something from one forum to another but spotted this from Vot today in some Out out brief candle forum.

In any case, if it takes some only marginally meta cross-posted vularities to get some game development going, I'm hapy to oblige. Votanic = game hero.

Seriously though, Sonic's game is taking up a lot of concentration/focus bandwith right now.
I actually even suggested the possibility that this game is just an experimental pocket-dimension spin-off of that other one.
Even if that's wasn't the plan, you still might consider merging the two.
Everybody can take on double roles and the whole thing will play out like a ayahuasca-laced barroom brawl on an exploding alien zeppelin in freefall.
Not to mention the hilarious meltdowns that would occur as you and Sonic try to co-mod the thing.

Day 1 suckage is a real thing in Mafia games.
The frustrating, vacuous, void screams to be filled with something, anything.
Players become petulant, unfounded accusations fly, randwagons form out of whole cloth. Scum takes knowing advantage of same.
Later, when they ask why you lynched him, be honest and say, "I was just feeling bored."
