You talk of hands... Actually a neat little thing...Law Enforcement today use lie detectors, machines...
--------- But in long ago societies...They also had lie detectors...To find the guilty...As today machines are hook up to hands.... Monitors heart rates, etc...
--------- So 3 people were brought infront of those in charge...Say, for killing someone or a big robbery...They are told to go into the barn...GOD knows all...HE will work through the mules in the barn...Grab the mules' tail... Connect with GOD...GOD will reveal the guilty...
--------- So the 3 people go into the barn...Then come out...The guards check their hands...2 have stuff on them( whatever is put on the mules' tail, mud, other things to dirty a hand)...One of them has clean hands...Whatever Lying, committing a crime...This is the guilty person...This person was afraid by guilt...To touch the mule and be revealed by GOD to be guilty... Ironically, by guilt of committing the crime/lying...Having clean hands...Proved guilt......
