Regarding the bracket itself, I think that's the kind of thing that should be adressed through the CAT forum, to officialize for next editions and avoid this kind of drama.

We have 1 bye, for LHDD. Since we have only 4 rounds to play, we will allow clans to start round 1 any time between now and Sunday, January 26. Once clans start round 1, the 6 week period will go into effect.

This will be a 4 round tournament instead of 5 which is in the OP.

Since we only play 4 rounds the first round will be 43 games, see edited OP.

Rule clarification question: The player eligibility and game count spoiler lists the maximum number of games any player can participate in by round. In previous wars, this has always explicitly excluded the tie-breaker game. Is that still the case here, or is it the intent to include the tie-breaker game as part of the stated maximum number of games?

Tie-breaker is excluded as normal.

The finalists of CC9 will be the first 2 seeds, the other 6 will be based on the December D400 Clan Ranking. In case of byes, the higher seeds will get those. The rest of the bracket will be filled randomly.
