i doubt that was the reason..GMC and chevrolette had to pay to get their cars in there...product placement costs money you know.

Ya, that movie was defenitly sponsored by GM. I think every identifiable car in the movie was a GM. And they have commercials for GM with the "Transform Your Ride" theme.

Just for everyone's information, Megatron is supposedly listed at 32 feet, Optimus at 28 and everyone else pretty far below that.

I saw an interview with Michael Bay saying he simply thought that using one of those "pansy looking bugs" alongside a big-rig and a massive pickup would just look stupid.

nah that isn't why you can't give something sponsored by Hitler a gun and have it transform even if it is one of the good guys

Despite the fact that he was the smallest of all of the Transformers, his purpose was to give the audience a robot to relate to.

ok so people hate on Bumblebee for being a VW Bug, but what about Jazz, he was supposed to be some tricked out Porsche(sp) sports car thing

He was cool in the cartoon, but today's VW bug just looks silly compared to the other vehicles being used. As for Jazz, I had kind of wished they would have used some kind of a porsche, but given his relatively small role, I think the Solstice did okay.

You have to admit it looked far better than a stock Solstice, at least the one they used had some extra features to make it look nicer.

That movie sucked, you couldn't tell what was happening in the fight scenes and it revolved around some faggot highschool kid wanting to get layed.

Well, considering that it's a view of the Transformers' war from the human perspective, I think it was rather a bold choice.

If you want the Transformer's point of view, there was a movie that came out in 1986 you could always watch.

First off, learn how to spell. Second, apparently you weren't paying very good attention because quite honestly, in almost all of the fight scenes you could easily tell what was going on.

TOO MANY HUMANS!!
NOT ENOUGH TRANSFORMERS!!

The humans ruined otherwise a rad movie. I see humans everyday, they suck. I don't see transformers ever and they didn't get enough screen time

I would have liked to see more of the robots as well, but I can understand why we didn't. I have a feeling it will work a lot like X-men and X-men 2. In the next movie I bet we see tons more of the robots, just like we saw the X-men do WAY more in the second movie.

Guess we'll see.

Odds on Unicron being involved (given Galactus' involvement in Rise of the Silver Surfer): 45:2

It would also give them an easy way to resurrect Megatron (into Galvatron).

Personally, I'd love to see Galvatron in there somehow. I thought he was cooler than Megatron in the end.

I just hope that the new Transformers are some of the famous ones. Of course, I wouldn't mind it if they made up one or two originals just to mix things up a bit.

Are you even old enough to have known there was a cartoon show?  It's all good, look it up on YouTube sometime and you can get a taste.

i saw the AVGN (Angry Video Game Nerd)'s review of the transformers animated movie..the clips shown look awesome, and they remind me of the cartoon violence that made cartoons from the 80s and 90s so awesome..now..it's just ridiculous. like jackie chan adventures a few years ago..when this huge dragon thing was attacking helicopters. when the helicopters exploded the occupants immediately parachuted down..it was like a circle of life :x
