Respect for ingenuity but no cred for difficulty

Some of my opponents were Majors or Colonels, and among 20 games I think I had 18 unique opponents. Other players who will be around 100% played more special maps such as Hive or Conquer 500 that most people doesnt know how to play well. In contrary, I played a top 5 mostly played map on the site that every good player on CC knows.

What sucks is your map choices. If you are going to play Hive Poly (2) with trench, it is expected that you will have slow wins. If you want quick wins, you could choose smaller maps.
Also I find it funny how you saw that your opponent Cadet is not playing well, then you invited him to join more games to take advantage of that and out of your 14 games, you have 4 games vs the Cadet and 5 games vs the other same opponent. My opponents were all freely joined, without my "invitation" to ones who are lower skilled.

Anyway MikeDigornio, if you feel disappointed you dont have gold medal with 100% win ratio, then I offer you a decider game, on your map (Hive) but with my settings Poly(4), Nuclear, Unlimited, Fog. So we can decide among ourselves, like a men, who is #1 of the month.

Like men? I would have prefer a fight in the mud ...

Just for people to know, I will have 24 victory out of 25, I congratulated Josko for his 20 out of 20 and told him my disappointment of finishing 2nd.
He offered me the same deal, which was pretty fair in my opinion.
I didn't accepted yet for personnal issue

Also, this is a lie. Your last ongoing games started on March 12, now is March 22 and games are in Round 16 Poly(2), which means that in 10 days your opponents played 32 turns, which is more than 1 turn every 8 hours (not counting extra time which you used to play for your own turns).

Do not blame your opponents without a valid reason.

31/40 = 78% (actually 77.5, but it only shows the nearest integer on the scoreboard). You need 140 points to appear on the scoreboard, but the scoreboard isn't by points, it's by percentage.

Fair point josko - but the scoring is daft - though I guess if I had thought it through beforehand I could have dome that too with a favourite map

I love these odd comps just want something that say has half and half home and away games/ minimum opponents and maybe the odd random map inclusion before scoring

Just a bit more of a diverse fairer playing field would be good

My point was how it's just really shitty game design to have it set up this way. But I guess I shouldn't expect anything more from this dying site. I forgot to cancel my auto-subscribe last year and I wont make that mistake again.

I gave you offer to decide top place in head to head game, instead of deciding by "shitty" setup.
Anyway, 20/20 wins should by every "non-shitty" logic be better than 14/14 so you would anyway be behind. ;)

How should it be set up differently?

Josko got bumped to 2nd.

Ties are awarded to the player who reached the point threshold first.

Tiebreakers seem to not be implemented correctly for the leaderboard.

It loads differently every time, I'll have Wham look at it.

Is this resolved? I am still showing as second.

No, it's not, apparently it's complicated and putting the tiebreakers into the scoreboard isn't going to work. Please try not to freak out too much, we know you won Josko.

It loads the ties differently every time for everyone as the tiebreaker conditions are not coded into the scoreboard.

I like that. Then we can all win as long as no one looks. And we could also all get the winners trophy as long as no one puts it on their wall. Can we run it as an auto tournament?

I want the CC Schroedinger's Conquer Cup. Now no one look to see if is still on the mantle.
