Some of my opponents were Majors or Colonels, and among 20 games I think I had 18 unique opponents. Other players who will be around 100% played more special maps such as Hive or Conquer 500 that most people doesnt know how to play well. In contrary, I played a top 5 mostly played map on the site that every good player on CC knows.

What sucks is your map choices. If you are going to play Hive Poly (2) with trench, it is expected that you will have slow wins. If you want quick wins, you could choose smaller maps.
Also I find it funny how you saw that your opponent Cadet is not playing well, then you invited him to join more games to take advantage of that and out of your 14 games, you have 4 games vs the Cadet and 5 games vs the other same opponent. My opponents were all freely joined, without my "invitation" to ones who are lower skilled.
