Many players have signed up for the Research Wars tournaments and the first one is well underway. For all who have completed the survey, you should see 250 CC in your account within the next few days (sorry for the delay - I'm just learning the ropes!). Also, we'll be making some changes to who is in which tournament to even out the matches.

Research Wars!
Join a research tournament that will explore personality and gaming and provide great prizes for people 18 years and older. Research Wars Tournaments are sanctioned by ConquerClub.
This will be a series of sixteen tournaments over the course of the summer. Each player can only participate in one tournament, due to the nature of the study. Winning is not required for two of the three prizes allocated to each tournament, and each person who signs up and completes the survey automatically receives 250 Credits regardless of winning or losing.
1. Complete an online survey (it takes about 10 minutes) 2. Play a ConquerClub tournament with 7 other players.
Format: 1v1, Classic, Sunny, Flat, 30 rounds, Auto, 1st round: Round Robin. 2nd and 3rd: Random draw, winners advance.
Prizes:
- 250 Conquer Credits just for completing the survey - chance to win 1000 Conquer Credits (one winner per tournament) each time you complete a game and leave ratings and tags for your opponent - compete for a 2500 Conquer Credits (the winner of each tournament)
This study has been approved by Saint Mary’s University Research Ethics Board (#15-171).
You will all be credited with the 250 credits just for entering the tournament and completing the survey, as well as each time you rate one of your opponents and leave tags you'll be entered in a draw for another 1000 credits. The winner of each of the tournaments will receive the 2500 Credits as well, so you ca possibly walk away with 3750 credits. I will be updating this for Libby with the next Tournament which is quickly filling as well.

it's part of the study , to see whether rigged dice resul in negative behavior; thank goodness I'm in the control group

i doubt that....lol we're all on our best behavior during the study anyway (i'm just ticked off that i'm gonna drop a rank +...waaaaaaaaaaaaa...but i'm cursing to myself, and being gooey nice to my opponent.)
the classic map with these settings is really drop and dice and luck with spoils dependent... not much more. right? it doesn't have to be rigged. you can tell who's going to win very early on. and i am reminded why i never play this map 1 v 1 anymore!
