Looks like ghow will not be able to free up a slot in a reasonable time frame. Reserve [player]imstillurdaddy[/player] is activated.

Is there a bracket available for this one or a link to the bracket? No rush, I am wondering if I am missing it somehow.

Good catch.
It was always my intention to post the bracket in Post 2, but some how I forgot. Anyway, it's been updated now.

We come at last to the Finals. Let me congratulate our finalists:
- TX AG 90, who thus far is undefeated and thus has won the winners' bracket.
- Djelebert, who went the tough road through the losers' bracket and came out the other side a winner.
Before we continue, I must correct a mistake. In the original specs I wrote
The final showdown between the winners of the two brackets will be best-of-three on maps 2, 3, and 4.
However, I was thinking of a best-of-3 showdown in a regular single-elimination bracket. This is a double-elimination bracket, however, and the player coming out of the winners bracket has an extra chance in case of a loss.
I think the best way to resolve this is to go with a best-of-
four final, not three, on all four maps. If either player wins three of the four, they will win the tournament. If the series is split, however, then TX will get the title.
I'll PM the finalist before creating the finals games to make sure they consent to this solution.

These are the memories that you will take with you. If even one thing is memorable enough that you will remember it five yours from now, then it was a good tourney.

On these rather difficult, highly strategic maps, there are many details to observe. Apparently, [player]Djelebert[/player] observed them well. In a remarkable tour-de-force, Djelebert swept the finals 4-0 to leave no doubt as to his status as tournament Champion!
There were some interesting ironies in this tournament. First, it is interesting to note that Djelebert, a Frenchman, rose to the top in a Napoleonic tournament. Perhaps a desire to vindicate
l'honneur et Glorie de l'empereur helped provide motivation?
It is also interesting to note that [player]TX AG 90[/player] was the player who originally knocked Djelebert out of the Winners' bracket, in
Game 14235822, the only game in this tournament that Djelebert lost. Thus, their meeting in the Finale was very appropriate. Bravo, TX!
Many congrats to Djelbert!
A big "thank you!" to [player]BigBallinStalin[/player] for providing the premium prize for this tournament. I thank everyone who played and offer a genuine wish that you all had a good time!

I don't mean to throw a wrench in the works, but I don't think I was ever officially eliminated from this tournament.
I did a Game Finder search for my games in this tourney, and I only found 1 loss.
Am I missing something somewhere?

You are correct. You were entitled to a 2nd chance game. I'm just don't do double-elims often enough...

Probably should have updated the bracket on challonge.com instead of trying to think for myself.
The tournaments is not over. Apologies to all concerned.
