I believe it is a side effect of some forum software upgrades. That shade of blue is aparently the default color and presumably somebody keeps forgetting to change it to the usual gray when they are working on that.

Presumably he took objection to you voting for some for the stated purpose of increasing the number of vote the person with the most votes had.

I felt from reading your post, you saw Doom was at L-4, your vote would make it L-3, jump on the BW and force a claim. That is my perception, of how I read your post.
