Because he has the better record than you. So unless you have the same win/loss record, that is the only way "points" even come into consideration

Asain, you went 5-0 against rmjw, and you went 5-0 against Whak. Those are big reasons you have more points than him

Merch, the holiday weekend and "Watch This Game" add-on broken because of the API makes it hard to make an update. I will wait a couple days to send the next round for the API to come online. Otherwise I will just do the next round anyway

There is no official rule. I guess it would be appreciated if you could accommodate, but you are not required to do so.
