no one know for sure but the biggest rumor is that he was going to kill his girlfriends because he thought she was cheating on him. rumor is thats who he shot in the dorms. its unknown why he came back and started shooting in the school.
No, he shoot a female resident advisor [RA] who was trying to break up a fight.

very true. seems like everwhere something terrible can happen. I remeber in chicago one day, an guy came inot a downtown office with a gun and killed 3 people. his excuse was that he invented the toilet seat, but thet company stole the idea. so ya, that statement is very true.

Any excuse for violence is no excuse, except for self defence.

My girlfriend's sistre is an RA. If she hadn't been, she would've been killed, too.

19 gun incidents at places of learning in the USA in the past decade. Terrible and shocking figure. A gun law has to come into place.
I hate these cowardly b*stards who do this site. Gl to the people in hospital. RIP to the victims.

No, ur wrong. My sister was late. thats why she was saved. not an RA. thats why she cant come home, and is in meetings. She would have been in that building too.

well, some of these incidents in high school and sometimes elementary(very rarely)are caused because the shooter has a parent who has a gun, and doesnt choose to hide it,or conceal it. policemen and women for example, if they have a depressed child, that child, could just pick up their parents gun , if the parents arent responsible.

How many more of these tragedies will it take for the US government to do something about their incredibly lax gun laws?

Freedom to bear arms was one of the reasons that the US broke away from Great Britain in the first place. So there's no convincing us.

Yes, but the world was a very different place 230 years ago. I'd like to think that the states are a bit more civilised these days, and its citizens a little more enlightened.

True. There's been a recent spate of teenagers being stabbed, and some even shot, here in the UK. My point is, is that it is all too easy to get hold of ridiculously dangerous weapons over there.

Maybe that's why Dr. Phil is on CNN at the moment. Maybe he can use his position as a broadcaster to help initiate changes in the way parents raise their children.
What a tragedy.

no, there's no convincing the gun lobby who's making a TON of money off of people buying guns.
There is no reason to allow people to own assault rifles NONE! I'm no expert on guns, but i'm pretty sure the most you'd need to defend your house is a small handgun, or to go hunting you get a small shotgun for birds, thats it! we're not going to be invaded by zombie hordes so you don't need an Uzi and we should practice strict regulations.
I think its time to say we made a mistake in allowing people to own guns beyond hunting and made it harder to get guns. Will it stop all gun violence? no, but it will stop a lot of it and save thousands of lives.
Worse day ever

This is a terrible day. It's hard to make sense of everything right now. My condolences to anyone who may have friends or family that was a part of this tragedy.
