I have an iPhone and CC works rather successfully. Some pinching required, but not bad.

And
a PSP(has iphone)
could you explain that?[/quote]

When's the Blackberry App coming out?

So I know there has been no announcement to this end about a blackberry client application coming out. But I'm on the road a lot and I know that there are many other CC blackberry users who would love to be able to make their move on the go.

I say CC step up and let's see if we can get a blackberry client out there yet.

there might be certain scripts necessary for CC to run that just aren't available on blackberrys or any smart phones in the web browser.

unless they create a client software version of CC to install on a smart phone which connects to CC via the internet in real time for displaying/playing games.

at this time i really dont think it is a matter of "when" but rather if it ever comes out. why would you even try to play a game on a small blackberry. the maps are wider and taller than them... seems to me just really inconvienient if you were to try it

iPhone Application?

Concise description:
Simply put, I play mostly from my iPhone. It would be nice to have an Application for it that would remove all the unneeded stuff from the page.

Specifics:
Things I would like to see from it are:
    The first screen is login.
There should then be an active games list. With a small button that would bring up the menus on the sides and top.
Make the gameplay screen simple, put the chat, log and players list in hideable sections.

This will improve the following aspects of the site:
    Mobility of players.

Wel frndz.
If cc 4 mobile option will be there, then lot of people who dont have PC at college place can easily play.
I play from internet cafe, but thats not a reliable source. I have missed turns due to power cut off and net cafe closing while playing turns, once clicked on play turn button.
If there will be any chance for me to play from mobile, then i can play cc at night also and regardless of any sudden power shut down.

I have tried CC on nokia N73 with UCWEB6 browser.
But the map is too smal to see anything but still i can attack and fortify from mobile.
Is there anything which can show me the big map 4 running game with army placement update.
Dont hesitate to pm me if want to ask or say sumthing.

Regards,
The Cursed Prince.

This game is not aimed at going portable like that. Although integration of SMS warnings could be something nice. Unless you know a map by heart, playing a game like this in WAP mode or in a ultra low res mode is not interresting enough. You can't get the big picture in a fogless game.

I vote NOT

Now the iPhone supports actual applications is there anyway of getting a Conquer Club application created? Using the browser is fine, but to have a specific application designed for the iPhone would be great!

Develop Version for PDA/Smart Phone

Concise description:
  • I am not sure how to do it, but I am sure someone out there would know how to develop a version of conquerclub that could be played on a PDA or Smart Phone.

Specifics:
  • Just an idea, if it happened it would rock, because I could play all the time!!!

This will improve the following aspects of the site:
  • Obviously this would allow people to play conquerclub while sitting in meetings at work and at other places where you can't sit in front of a computer screen!

i believe this was rejected but im not sure.

prolly because how are you going to get those huge maps onto a tiny cell phone screen, even one the size of an iphone or something.

How about setting up mobile.conquerclub.com ?? i know it would take a lot of time and effort to overhaul the display, but i know it can be done. Come on guys, i'd love to make my attacks from my blackberry while sitting on a beach somewhere!!

Mobile is an idea that has been around for a while on CC. We'll have to see what happens in the next couple of months.

i'm sure the new blackberrys will handle it just fine, but it's the other models that don't have touch screen and horizontal view that have sizing issues... and man your thumb starts to get sore with all that trackball scrolling

Does CC work fine on an iPhone?

I was under the impression that it didn't?

I used to be able to get into CC from my BlackBerry but when Lack made the classic map switch it changed something and now I cannot check anything. :(

Make an iPhone App for conquerclub.com

There is an enormous market of gamers with iPhones. This would take CC to the next level.
