For the new feature in this release try moving the mouse over the map.

Wow, great work, it was fixed before I've even mentioned that, lol.

I love it...

As I said before it is working fine on all the other maps. Maybe I should try to reinstall it. Why dont any of you guys check it out, is it working for you 288082.

I looked at the game, the table seems to be working for me.

Short of reinstalling everything, I would restart Firefox and see if it's working for that game then.

Good luck.

thanks it is working now.

Actually I have found a game, which can be used as a good performance tester for this add-on.

Game 143470, Battle Royal 3.

EEEKK!!!!

I have assumed max 6 players in the script
- that game breaks so many things.

Question: is it worth fixing the script for games with more than 6 players?

I just went into that game and it seems to be working fine.

Also GREAT SCRIPT!!! I wish saw it a bit sooner. I have only one complaint. When you hover over an army on the map, and it highlights the border, the highlight goes on top of the number, partially making the number harder to read. Is it possible to make the highlight go underneath the number? Thanks.

Sorry but in order for the squares to detect the mouse moving over them they have to be on the top of the numbers.

I will have a look at changing the way the squares look to see if I can make the middle transparent but it will be a few days before I get a chance to look at it.

Great improvement on a great improvement! Kudos to both Tr0y and stocksr!! But one question that I did not see the answer to in here. What do the asterisks next to the "(#%)" in the countries column represent?

Nobody else noticed them, and I only just added them.

They show how many territories you have to take from that player to reduce their armies by 1; I added it because I can't divide by 3 in my head.

Just got up the nerve to install the new script and all I can say is WOW! I'm gonna change the fade a little, but man!

Now if could get Conquer Tell (And thanks for the instructions on which is which, Sully and Backglass) to turn the blocks yellow when you are the next player up,. Then maybe blink and make a sound, when 15 minutes are left before your turn comes up or time expires on the other player in front of you. I would jump on the couch, ala Tom Cruise!! lol

Just kidding.

Thanks again,

Windparson

Right-click the monkey, and then right-click Conquer Club - Roberts Mods script.

Either this will open an editor or it will prompt you to pick an editor to use.

If it opens an editor, fine use that editor.

If it wants you to pick an editor to use, Notepad that comes with Windows works fine.

I'm having trouble with this. When I right click on "Conquer Club - Roberts Mods" nothing at all happens. I have restarted Firefox and when that didn't work I uninstalled Conquer Club, Conquer Club - Roberts Mods AND Conquer Tell (just to be safe), restarted Firefox, reinstalled them all and tried again and when I right clicked on "Conquer Club - Roberts Mods" - again nothing.

What's happening to my computer?!! :?:

Turns out i lied, i just checked again and PARTS of the script work in battle royale. Most of it works except the territory highlighting, which only works for the first 6 players.

Is it like a huge fix? I don't really know how the data is setup in that game...

They are planning to make those type of the game available for any person to setup.

So it is definitely not the huge priority but, might be interesting to see it done in some future time.

aphockey23 wrote:(t + c) * m = a

t = country owning bonus
c = continent bonus
m = missed turn multiplier (1 + the number of consecutive missed turns)

under countries theres a * or a -
what are they?

aphockey23 wrote:under countries theres a * or a -

The - indicates that the countries are below 12 indicating that the country bonus is already 3 and cannot be reduced further.

The * indicates that if you conquer two of this player's countries his country bonus will drop by 1.

The ** indicates that if you conquer three of this player's countries his country bonus will drop by 1.

The absence of any marking indicates that you must conquer one of this player's countries to drop his bonus by 1.

OK, there are two ways to edit the script. One involves right-clicking (which apparently doesn't work on a Mac and maybe other PC's) and the other involves using the Manage User Scripts... option (which doesn't involve using a right-click to get an editor). Try both options until you get an editor open.

One thing that may be going on given that you both say you don't see anything is that the editor window is hidden. Look for the editor window on the bar on the bottom of the screen, it may have lost focus for some reason. If that fails, try minimizing all the windows open, you may find the editor window hiding somewhere in the background.

If all this fails, then you can edit the file directly using Notepad. First search for conquerclubrobertsmods.user.js. That's the file you want to edit. It should probably be somewhere like:

C:\Documents and Settings\YourName\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\jqy97r98.default\gm_scripts

Start Notepad and open the script file directly.

Good luck.
