I've been getting consistent timing out issues and slowdowns since about 20:08 CC Time.

Today, for the first time, I have experienced almost constant lag and and time outs requiring me to hit "my games" and re-enter the game EVERY move. Thurs, Apr 28th... all day long.

Games are lagging. Getting timed out during turns. This is nola_lifer taking turns for tammerlane. Didn't have problems when I was on my account but I don't think that matters much.

just wanted to say that i have had several occasions where i get the "time-out" message and wait 10 seconds, re do it and then i am directed to hit the reload symbol, or sometimes it just goes says to hit the reload symbol.
i had not realized that this was a problem that needed to be reported. i will endeavor to do so in the future.

I just had some hiccups, once 12 minutes ago and once 2 minutes ago (for a minute or so). Server just seemed to not reply any more.

Approx. 14:36 - 14:40 CC time

Major lag, this is the worst it's ever been for me.

EDIT: I'm even getting pretty bad lag trying to post this.

During the last 10 minutes or so (from about 1040 Eastern Daylight time) I have experienced long periods of lag while trying to access forum posts. (I again got lag when I clicked the reply button to make this report.) During the same period I tried going into games and inbox, and all those worked fine and normal. Only the forum seems to have been affected.

Again, my work on the new dice stats feature slowed down the website. I will have to do some database maintenance before I can finish the feature. Sorry :-(

I'm surprised we can still call them "dice" with the new pictures and all. I'd be very much in favour of regular dice if there isn't some lawsuit pending.

just took a turn in game 9036384 at 2011-05-09 15:25:23, according to the game log. each move, whether it was deploying, attacking, moving troops, or whatever, took at least 5 seconds each.

**Just realized my "CC Time" was 1 hour too early - thus, 14:00 would be 15:00, etc.**

Sorry for the inconvenience!

Lack has tracked down a couple of reasons why a few slow-downs occur. Over the next couple of weeks, I think we'll be doing some Forum and Website Performance updates that should target a few of these issues we've identified.

Thanks for your patience and posting. Continue your assistance, and we'll see if we can identify any other trouble spots.

I'm unsure of whether or not the "Join Speed Games" lag would be fixed by the future update Andy mentioned, but it's happening quite a bit for me at the moment. 12:24 PM CC Time.
