I remember when I first started where I had unusually good dice.
I even took a chance where I was 12 vs 20 (a "do or die" moment) and I won. A pretty thrilling moment, if you ask me.
But having good dice at the beginning then brought me a string of losses that were a combination of bad dice plus weak tactics.
So, I've gotten rid of some of my bad playing habits in order to compensate for bad dice.
But ultimately, CC is a game of chance where a good strategy maximizes your chances.

I'd have to agree -- I won't throw that 4v1 or even 5v1 out there if losing a troop or two is going to leave me in a very vulnerable position. Might as well anticipate the bad dice. I know, that doesn't help with an opponent getting the really good lucky dice, but at least I can control when I push offensively and when I don't?

The reason one can repeatedly fail an attack is for the same reason one can push through half of a map without a single loss.
It's just how probability; there's no such thing as luck until you find yourself on one side or the other.

You cannot control when to push offensively because you do not know what dice will be thrown!! Having a bad dice just before does not mean it will continue!!

Can't understand what people are on about with the dice. Mine are absolutely ace. Incredibly lucky all the time. I've no idea how to play this game and reckon I'd be around private/cook rank if I wasn't so unbelievably jammy.

My average roll is 0.02 worse than my opponents. That sounds like nothing, but over 25,000 rolls its killing me.
I get stung so often I find it effects my decisions and my strategy and as a result my win ratio and rating is dropping like a stone.

Maybe there is somthing in it and the dice are fixed in certain players favour. All the other lucky players like me are understandably keeping quiet about it. I probably shouldn't have said anything.

It's all about knowing when to stop. Once I learned to stop at 3v1 (or 2v1 in rough situations where I really felt like I needed to break something, trust me, you never need to take a territory that badly outside of very few situations) things get much better. Just never roll when the roll isn't 3v2 or better odds. Ever. I've gone up 200 points in my average rank from learning that.

Well it's only fair. The powers that be at CC spend all day sat around scheming against these poor chaps. It's right that they should be exposed for it.

Therefore my tip is: always join games as player 2.

Well, I guess it's not always easy to admit to yourself that you just plain suck at the game. So I guess making excuses about it is understandable. Spamming and quadruple-posting however, is not.
