Right, and I understand that the request to remove making up for missed turns was rejected. But what about allowing the game creator to decide if missed turns should be recouped? I'd consider that a different suggestion, but I suspect if I made a new topic you'd just say it was already rejected despite the difference.

Missed Turns: Recouped, Lost Option [Rejected]
With Andy's blessing I'm starting up a new request.
Missed Turns: Recouped, Lost -- Option
Previously it was asked, and rejected, to remove the missed turn multiplier. Currently, the system works like this:
You miss a turn. On your next turn, if you take it, the game calculates the number of armies due to you now (standard formula and game specific rules) then multiplies by a number of turns. 1 if you never missed a turn, 2 or 3 if you have missed 1 or 2 turns. If you are due 3 armies and have missed 1 turn, you get 3 * 2 = 6 armies for your turn. If you are due 3 armies and have missed 2 turns, you get 3 * 3 = 9 armies for your turn.
Some people like it for various strategic reasons or simply because they miss a turn now and then and don't want to totally lose the turn.
What I suggest is the addition of an option at game creation where the creator can choose if missed turns will be handled as they currently are (Recouped) or if they are Lost completely. Under the "Lost" setting, the missed turn multiplier would not be applied, so that if you are due 3 armies and have missed 1 turn, you get 3 armies. If you are due 3 armies and have missed 2 turns, you get 3 armies.

It's a decent idea but I think we are beginning to run into too many choices.
You can play with 3, 4, 5, or 6 people.
Any of 22 (and growing) maps)..
Standard, Terminator, Doubles or Triples (and some people want to add old style doubles and triples)
Freestyle or Sequential
Escalating Flat or No cards
Chained Adjacent or Unlimited
Public or Private.
Thats currently 12,672 combinations of game setups. Won't we ever have enough??
I know that choice is good but not everything can be an option. If you constantly add more choices it just clutters the screen when you're trying to join a game, and could make it difficult for you to find a kind that you like.

Perhaps we need "basic" games (quick setup, takes defaults on most items) and "advanced" games that have more options (longer setup where you can change all the settings).
eek even more options
but i agree with the first sentence you made

I think thats a great idea (as it does not change the game) is there a thread on that already, or can i create one.
I also agree with sully though (i know its a contradiction but meh)
