Still have plenty of reserve spots available. If you would like to join, this would be a good idea to be a reserve, do to the length of the tourny, some may drop out....fingers crossed that doesn't happen too much. Thanks for looking.

I'd like to raise one concern before things get started. A lot of maps are being repeated as home maps. Doesn't it defeat the idea of "home field advantage" if for example, two people in the same division have Arms Race, two people in the same division have AOR II, and both of those maps are popping up in other divisions as well? I understand that those are complicated maps, and they give the team with them a familiarity advantage (in fact, both of those maps were explicitly banned in last years MLB tournament.)

I'd just like your thoughts on that - I think having some maps being used by so many teams will have a negative impact, and I think being allowed to use a map such as Feudal War will give a huge advantage over people like the poor sap who picked Classic as their home field.

Good point and thank you for your concerns. I can see where the same map should only be used once, but as far as banning a map I cannot do because a home map should be a map you're familiar with and good at, thus home field advantage, and the visiting team not so familiar with but will have an opportunity to upset the home team. One thing to limit the effectiveness of the folks using a complicated map was having a standardize set up and no freestyle, which if not familiar with the game and don't know about scripts will more then liking lose miserably. So I will ask the players in the tournament to settle between themselves which map each other should use and let me know. I will not require them to change their home map, but simply make a suggestion. It's only fair, since I didn't institute the rule from the beginning.

Opening games are under way. I will be submitting the next series shortly. Please join your games within 48 hours. If you can't, please contact myself and your opponent so we are made aware of your circumstances and to get an approval from both of us to take your turn in an approved time frame agreed upon. If your opponent does not agree on an extension, you may ask a reserve to take over your team, so the tournament can move more fluidly. If you choose to have a reserve take over the team, you will be placed into the reserves spot replaced by on the reserve list, but if nothing is done, you will be permanently kicked from the tournament. I appreciate your understanding of this and your cooperation in trying to move the tournament more fluidly. Thank you, and Enjoy the Tournament.

Will start Week 2's games when I awake in the morning. There are currently 5 games remaining in Week 1's games. Everything is going smoothly. Currently there are 2 undefeated teams; Tampa Bay Rays & New York Yankees. The Yankees are still involved in a few games for Week 1 and time will tell if they will join Tampa Bay in Week 2 as an undefeated.
