oppinion - winner should get more points (around 14) or else some people will just play without cards and get 7 points, reach final and play properly...

I can change that, though that thought never crossed my mind.

Seems like a boring way to play, but I guess folks might do it.

Dear Angela,

I am hoping to be above 2000 soon (1953 now) and would like to join the tournament. Will it be possible once I pass 2,000. Can you send an invitation if so?

You mention one has to be premium. What is this and how does one become premium? I have paid a subscription if this is what you are referring to.

If you get over 2,000 in the next couple of days, please return and join.

Premium is paid subscription. I have to specify that because you will have to play 8 games at once, so obviously non-paying members can't do this.

I'm in if there are spaces left. Never played a tournament before.

Do I need to do anything else to play?

im gonan throw this quote in herefrom the turny requirements thread

Allowed

The reason for the difference is that there are far more low ranks than high ranks as well as more desire to run high rank only tournaments rather than low rank only tournaments. A tournament IS allowed to run a division within the tournament that is only for the highest of players, but they most also have divisions for other point ranges and everyone must have an equal opportunity to win the tournament in the end.

Nope. When five more people join, I will invite you to the games you need to be in and then just play like normal.

Tournaments are quite fun, you'll see.

All that post means is that if I wanted to run a 2,500-points and above tournament, then I'd have to have divisions for other point levels.

2,000-points and above is perfectly acceptable.

Plus, I'm running two other eight-man escalating tournaments for everyone. You could sign up for those.

no becasue that was just an example of it... i will quote it rihgt from the page now

New Tournament Minimum Requirements

Conquer Club has seen MANY new features in the two years since our last update to the minimum requirements to run a tournament. The site now has such things as quads teams, nuclear cards, manual deployments, and tournament medals. In addition, we Tournament Directors have operated under several rules and procedures that were never codified to the public. In an effort to bring our standards up to date, we have written new minimum requirements. Please remember that most of these are either no change or a slight change from the requirements we have been operating under for two years.

* All tournaments must have at least the following amount of participants:
o 1v1 and Singles Tournaments: 16 players
o Team Tournaments: 8 teams

* The maximum point restriction allowed on a tournament is 2000+ points per player or team average..

OK. I don't understand what you are arguing then. This tournament is for 2,000 points and above, just like your highlighted part says.

Please stop mucking up my tournament thread. Thanks.

Exactly. This tournament has been approved.
