Do the colours of the team you put in the first post mean anything?

Good Tournament...American here
WC draw is not completely random. The teams are seeded into pots based on a seeding/ranking and geographical and regional location. For ex. No more than two european teams end up in a pool.
The top 7 plus the host each get drawn into each pool.
The WC final stage is a month long....so playing sequential shouldnt be a problem. If you really wanted to do this up...Teams could be formed according to our concafaf regions and have qualifiers
To bad we dont have the equivalent of penalty kick in risk!!

I have an idea. Lat's forget this rule about european coutries as mainly european countries joined. But you should have point system, it would work like this. You sum all the points of all players in the team. And as you have 32 teams, you would divide them in 4 power groups. And if in the first group there are eight team none of these teams would be in the same group and also with other power groups this is close to the real system how they choose teams the only different thing is that they use other pointing system.

Hmm, well Vatican doesn't actually has standings as real real state. And they don't have football club by the way. Represent yourself Cardinals playing football

OK here it is once more.
1. First thing to do is to calculate the sum of points each team has that is to sum the points from both members of the team, not including alt but if you want you can include him as well, then also if team doesn't have alt you should allocate them 1000 points by default.
2. Is to order all teams by the points you calculated in the step one.
3. As you have ordered all teams in step two. Now you divide them in the 4 power groups. That is first eight teams will be power group one, second eight teams will be power group two, and so on.
5. When you did everything explained in step four, then you procede to the extracting phase. Teams from the power group one want be able to be in the same group. Purpose of this on real championship is to exclude chance that the best teams eliminate themselves in the first phase of game that's why later on in elimination phases plays first and seecond one. So each member from the power group 1 takes first position in the groups from A to H if I'm not wrong. Then from power group two teams take second place in groups and so on for power groups three and four.
6. As you have done everything described in the previous steps you should have exactly the same division of teams as they do this in real life that is in any real competition especially football cups like european championship league and world cup.
hopefully you get it now. I would be glad to help you with this if you want.
