Same here... just upgraded to FF v5 since some of my addons were not working with v4... now everything works except this wonderful, wonderful script. :(

Same here, chat won't detach and no sniffing is taking place since I upgraded.

Same here. I don't care about the "sniffing", but I love the detached chat box!

Updated to version 1.6.16, fixing issues with compatibility for Firefox 5.

NOTE - If you have already upgraded to Firefox 5, you must use the install link on the first post, as your new version notification I believe is also broken in 5.

Hey, hey, hey, now I can sniff and detach --- why does that sound vaguely sexual?

Hmm, kinda interested in what goes wrong with the version check in FF5, since I use the mechanism too and it seems to work for me.

I think the problem was just that the entire script was erring out before it could even get to that part. The issue with FF5 was that they took away callable regular expressions. Instead of /pattern/(stringToMatch) - which previously worked, and was used all over this script - you now have to use /pattern/.exec(stringToMatch).

Ah, I've been running on .12 for the last age, no wonder it wasn't working perfectly >_<

However, I'm still having a major problem trying to post when the chat is detached? Not sure why it's happening, but it's happened quite a few times now

Any more details? Does it have problems every time, or just periodically? In what way does it have problems? Won't post at all, seems to hang forever, posts at the wrong privacy level (team vs public), or something else? Are you running in firefox 5? What other scripts do you have installed, and in what order? (Tools > Greasemonkey > Manage User Scripts... will provide the list)

Sorry for the barrage there. I am able to post chat when detached just fine, so I need more info in order to reproduce the issue.

Let me see if I can reproduce it again, but it basically gave me a problem where the 'post message' button was grayed out so that I couldn't click it. Restoring it was able to let me post, but whenever I went back to detach it would happen again. Maybe it's just related to connection issues, and just doesn't revert back to normal like the restored version.

I'll get back to you with the other Q's tho

I'm running 1.6.16 in Firefox 5.0 at the moment and it really isn't working for me. Chatglove does detach a chatwindow, but it doesn't move the actual chatmessages (they stay at the bottom, where they originally are). If I restore the chat window and detach again it works perfectly though. Also, chatglove keeps marking all my games with new chat, even when there isn't any, and still after I repeatedly click 'Mark all chat as read'. Is there anything I (or anybody else) can do about this?

I gotta say, this has now become my favorite script asides from bob. Invaluable for team games.

Is there a reason why I have 2 boxes on the side under game finder that say Game chat? Only one of them has the numbers for unread chat. I just upgraded to 1.6.16 earlier today. But what is really kinda funny is that while im in a game, only one of them appears

Check your Greasemonkey menu and see if there is a duplication in there that matches the duplication on the left. If there are two scripts active, they may have different patterns for which pages they are included on.

Thanks for the addon!

On your first post there is an image, and under Game Finder it says, "insert game #" Can anyone tell me what addon this is? I love its simplicity if all it does is go to a game number.

Thanks in advance

I have no idea, to be honest - I didn't take those snapshots, and I never noticed that before.

Quiet in here. Anyone find that while using chatglove, they experience random log outs from cc. It can happen at anytime. Clicking begin turn, opening a game, anything at all really.

Disabling chatglove definitely resolves the issue although I guess in theory it could be down to an interaction with another add on.

Anyway, it's extremely irritating and has become more and more common to the point that I've had to permanently disable it :(

I have neither experienced nor heard of any issues like that. I am running many other scripts along with Chatglove.

What scripts do you use?

I rather hoped everyone suffered from this and it wasn't just me !

I'm firefox 8.0.1 and run the following addons :

Bob
Watch this game
Assault Odds
Game Link
Map Rank
Private Message Team
Clickable Maps
Chat Glove

I get the same issue on two different machines both with the same combination.
