how do I UN INSTALL Clickable maps?? Ever since I since I installed it I get script errors and the game play is at a snail pace. IT takes at least 30 Seconds for the 'system' to make a move.
I need to UNINSTALL to see if that fixes the problem.

I have firefox. I also got it downloaded. The only thing is, I can't attack. I know how to do it but when i move my arrow over the place i want to attack, my arrow does not turn into the lil hand with the pointing finger. I had to hit the assault button. It works tho when i advance. my end phase button doesn't work and when i hit the N hot key for next playable map, the screen goes blank. do i need to re-download it or what?

Could there please be an option to eliminate the pop up window that comes up if you try to make an illegal attack?

I can't seem to find the user guide or any other options for the clickables. The only thing I can do is whatever is available directly on the map. Can anyone help please?

You can. Greasemonkey is a FireFox Add-On. And it is not a problem with this script I can't install any scripts on Greasemonkey.

This is usually due to a missing config file or gm_scripts directory in your Firefox Profile.

Go to your profile directory something like this:

Code: Select all

c:\Documents and Settings\<Windows login/user name>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\13rzw4zp.default\
or on Vista

Code: Select all

C:\Users\<Windows login/user name>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\13rzw4zp.default\

You should have a gm_scripts directory inside which should be a config.xml file.

If not, make an empty gm_scripts folder and an empty config.xml inside that folder and then install your scripts one by one.

It could also be a missing config.xml inside your gm_scripts folder so create a new empty one.

If you are struggling, PM me , this is no big deal.

I have a little problem in speedgames. see, I use the feature that allows me to type in the number of troops I wish to deploy/advance/fort, and I also use the scrolling wheel when only changing it 1 or 2 armies.

When in the second turn i take in a game (usually i dont play 2 turns in a row in casualgames, that's why i only have this problem in speedgames), the maximum of troops that I can deploy at once has changed for clickable maps.

so let's say I have 15 to deploy. the standard menu sets my deploy to the maximum automatically.
when I keep my mouse on one of my territories, a '15' is shown (I believe this is called the floating army counter)

if I scroll one down however, it does not go to 14, but to a number like 2 for instance. If I scroll one up after that, it does not take me back to 15, nor to 3. If I type in any number greater than 2, it goes to 2.
the number of 2 is one of the common ones for me. it is usually 2,3,4, and sometimes it's a bigger number.

I'm trying to find logic in it, because it probably has something to do with tha (auto-)advancing or forting of the round before, but in speedgames everything goes so quick

anyway, I can always solve this problem by reloading the whole page, or going to My games and re-enter the game, but it's a quite annoying little thing that might be able to fix.

Sounds like the round refresh code needs to be looked into.

okay i think i might know what the problem is.
when in turn, lets say, 1, I fort from China to Congo, Clickable maps sets a maximum value for the fortable troops. that's because there are only, lets say, 3 armies on China.
but apparently, this maximum value for fortable troops stays after that turn ends.

in round 2, I can not deploy more than 2.
at least this is what i suspect.

hope this helps to localize the problem.

Yeah - that's what I theorised - of course - now that Lack has changed the site - this code could almost certainly be removed.
