As Master Chief and his crew wake up from their much needed rest, they notice a trail of blood winding through the halls. They follow the trail into one of the rooms, to see that it is empty. They go back into the hall and follow the trail in the opposite direction. At the end of the trail is a note attached to a dead body.
The note reads: Another one of your town leaders dead. Master Chief, you are next.
