Romance perhaps, but unfortunately for her she'll have to wait till you leave so she can have some alone time with the washing machine and some produce for her to be done.

impossible because he has unlimeted power means that he can lift everything :P so then you are stuck somewhere :P

This is known as a paradox. It may seem impossible, but it is possible to answer the question. the answer is just to complex for our tiny minds to process (so we've invented the internet, and, hoping to create a greater thinking powere, have really just dulled down our own thinking power, creating a negative affect, pulling us farther from the answer to your question.)

Are you in the Jesus Freaks clan?

Wow Sammy, I didnt expect that question. Well, I don't look at someone who is gay any differently than someone who is not. I do have some friends that are gay. It's just not my thing though. I am not really sure about my thoughts on gay marriage.

you seem like a christian woman, so if you don't have a belief on this, I suggest you go read Leveticus 18:22 (sexual laws). I don't want to force my beliefs on you, but this is why I believe that gay marriage is dispicable. The verse literaly outlaws men to "lie with a man as you lie with a woman". what it says about gay women, I don't know...

The paradox of ominopetence, indeed. Love it! There is quite a LOT of doubt whether this paradox can be resolved. It goes right to the heart of most mono theistic religions, so its a real problem. Basically it suggests that beleieving in god is an irrational act- after all, how van you believe in a paradox?
Still, I believe the philosopher Mackie gave the job a real go, and his book, along with John Hick is a good place to start. I wish i could remember shit.

Tho frankly we should focus all our intellectual energies on The Paradox of Clappers Tits - "If they are so darn fine, why cant we sneak a peak?"
Thanks to Arisitotle and The Horny Monk for that one.
:P

You admit it yourself Suggs! God is possible!. You say the idea of God is a paradox. A paradox is a statment that seems impossible, but is still true. STILL TRUE! HAHA word tricks. how ya been Suggs?

Hmm, i have the feeling I've been Forum mugged lol.
I'm not convinced that any paradoxs are "true" but...hang on, i've remembered. I've fallen into the old trap of accepting the LANGUAGE of the deabte. Rather like the ontological argument in fact. Logically, it sounds "true" - and yet, it doesnt mean it EXISTS in a material sense. (eg one can construct a logical syllogism that will prove that socrates had green hair. It will be ture in terms of the internal constuct of the syllogism - and, yet, socrates didnt have green hair).

More prosaically, even if paradoxs are "true" (ignoring my -prob Kants, i think - objections above) I'd still be less than happy at basing my WHOLE WAY OF LIFE on a dodgy language trick!

ps I am good. In both logical terms, and in reality :P :P

Can we please keep the religious conversations out of here? There are threads for that already. If anyone wants to talk to me about my beliefs, they can talk to me directly. Thanks.
