look good now and the tunnels look better without the white.

one more thing. the anti tank barriers look strange with just those X. try doing some barbed wire instead. it will look much better.

one more thing. the anti tank barriers look strange with just those X. try doing some barbed wire instead. it will look much better.

Maybe you dont notice,but except object(chronometer,ruler)all map is in 2D,and if i want to create barbed wire then these will not be realistic.So only object on map is 3D,and all map is 2D,so if you have some idea for Anti TAnk and infantry barrier please show me visualy. These X is legend sumbol,because with sumbols in military map show some object.

One thing I don't get: Why is Plan A worth less than 4th Marine Division when they appear to have the same number of territories and borders in exactly the same layout? :?

Sorry if this has been raised before - I've only flitted in and out of this thread sporadically

Its look that you miss a point of these map.Perl Harbor is not present Strategic military map,because terittory and object is in 3D and dont have any grid coordinate.In mine map 3D object is on Map(chronometer,ruler,i forget how these 3 you call in english)and in map every thing must be simple and 2 D,and barriers and tunnels must be in 2D and must be simple simbol like in real strategic military map,do you belive that in original military map barriers and others things present with pictures and in 3D.
Second-thanks for Top Secret,with these map will be more original.

              Final Forge


---The WWII OPERATION IWO JIMA map has reached the ‘Final Forge’ Stage. I've revived this thread from the pits of the Foundry furnace and have examined the contents. Nearly every major concern has been addressed. If there are any other current concerns, please make your voice heard. If after a reasonable amount of time there has not been any objection or protest, the map will be deemed finished with the 'Foundry Brand' of approval and will be submitted for live play. As long as there is still discussion or posts that have yet to be commented on, the map will remain in Final Forge until said discussion has reached the conclusion that the map has reached its final and polished version.



Post questions and concerns if any.

how did you work out the bonusus is???

A continent has 4 borders and only bonus 2!!!

A minor graphical suggestion. Qwert, would it be possible to make the black barbed wire, dotted lines, and tunnel entrances seem...'less black'? Right now the current darkness of the black doesn't go with how the colors for the other areas are. I'm not sure I can describe what I mean to you, but it looks out of place.

Perhaps if you made them look more like the color of dotted lines from Kangoky Rock to the mainland. A slightly different shade, you know?

Also, if you could make all the territory divsion borders uniform, perhaps like those around Plan B, it would look superb.

Well people have 3 option for bonuses,and also have these option with same bonuses,but they vote for these option(Look page 1 bonus poll vote,and option)

1.Less black,ok
2.All terittory borders is same,and what you se,these a country borders not only in Plan B(Look borders Plan A-Airfield,Airfield-4th,Airfield-109,and others country borders)Nobody have complains about these border solution,except you.Now these will infect all people to think that these solution for border is problem.I just want to be simple borders in terittory and diferent country borders,like is look now.

indeed you have but on the wrong map. this one does not have the anti tank barriers on the 4-way borders

Yes i know these,but when you have so many update maps(i dont erase previos) then you forget in these very minor thing(4 way borders barriers)
Here with fix speling words and 4 way barriers borders(what ever)
