blue is still unreadable... I think you might have a problem. You could try bigger castles/towns graphics. Or you could revert to something like what you started with, the outlines... or you could do a silhouette of a castle or town, same image as the current, enlarge it a tad and roll with that. OR maybe something along the lines of Natty's Transiberian RR cities... you're gonna have to play with I think.

o.k., so what about this? now are all numbers good visible, just maybe I could add to Inner Glows less opacity a little?

How did you put the numbers on that last image? The red and orange do not look like the colours normally seen, and the pink might be off too.

Hey,

i see things are going pretty well :)

Some more thoughts about this one:

The legend is hard to read, reduce to just 1px your selection before to fill it with colors. To have the same result i had on my version you have to select the text layer, then create a selection of your text (something like "text to selection" under the layer options menu, i think). Now create a new layer under your text layer and enlarge your selection by 1px (selection menu option). Fill it with the color.
In this way it will follow more the text, giving a less squared result.

You should try to find a better placement for some names/buildings, this is what i notice:
-Visby, Move the building, or the trade routes, to make clear if there's a link between them and the city. Move the name, you can have it on the top right .
-Wasenburg, Vironia and the trade route. You should try to make clear the trade route here. Move up the building and the label, vironia could be placed in the middle of the territory. Now you should have the space for a clear trade route.
- A small part of B of Courland text is hidden behind the city.
Probably some others can be moved a bit to fit the army numbers, but for now this is what i see... O:)

Don't go with the outline for cities, it looks bad. (see OP)

Use them like a layer and post your map with them on it instead of using a screenshot ;)
And Is there a way not have numbers on the city icons?

Colors, try to create more contrast between the two colors of terramariana.

I did not change anything in legend. it´s your version... will look at this.

OP, sorry me. what this means? outlines of cities made them more as separate region, I think.

just to know, when I add numbers to 840x800 size map and than I resaize map to 630x600 also numbers could change their size?
or at the first I must resaize map to small version 630x600 and only than add numbers there?

The numbers displayed by the site are the same size on both large and small maps, so if you paste numbers on the large map and then resize it, they will be reduced and will not properly show how things will look when the map is in play. At this point, you might want to put together your XML file and then use the Map Inspect tool to test things out. If you need help with the XML, I could lend a hand.

because castles/hanseatic cities/towns are regions. not just icons.

I enlarge them. will see how it will looks. I do not like cyrcles or rectangles (more if map has settlements)...

sorry, but I do not understand what I can do with Map Inspect tool.

When you have created your XML, upload it to a file sharing site. Then in the Map Inspect tool, enter the URL of your XML and the URL of one of your image files. Click the button for the size of the map you are using (Small or Large). Click the Specify button for Army Quantity and type 888 in the box next to that. Then click Map Inspect. The page will draw your map with the numbers in the positions specified in the XML, just as they would appear during a game. You can do a screen capture and post that to this topic to show that the numbers are properly positioned and readable. You can also check that your XML is correct by hovering over the army numbers: just like with BOB, you will see other numbers highlighted with lines and squares to show assault and bombardment routes.

Do you want me to create the XML?

You can also click on the map image and save the image (map.php.png) on your computer, it will show only the 888. Then add it as a new layer at the top of your map file. ;)

I think this might be a good idea... not even a rectangle, but perhaps a line underneath the numbers.

Well, I just think someof the icons become obscured by the presence of the numbers on top of them... you could try and enlarged the icons a little to make it more clear.

The XML is a text file which the Map Inspect tool, like the CC site itself, uses to determine where the numbers should go.

aha, will write it. one question - the numbers must be as in start of game? so 2 red on Memelburg, 2 neutral to Gotland...
