Re: Football (real)
watched Rangers thump Elgin City 5-1 today, great atmosphere just over 46,000 there. not as many as the world record(for the 4th teir of football) the other week against East Stirlingshire(49,100 and odd). 2nd highest in Britain behind Newcastle.

high score:2765
high place:116

We need a couple of good midfielders, I don't understand why didn't we buy good midfielders instead of Van Persie.

What's wrong with you English people? Lloris is one of the best GKs in the world and he's a subtitute?

RVP was well worth the money 5 goals already this season for us plus we bought kagawa who has been hit and miss so far, one more MF to replace carrick and it will be sorted.
in other news Terry quites international football.

Re: Football (real)
How about Klose admitting he had scored with the hand.
Admittedly it took him some pressure but he finally told the ref. Makes me remember of Nevdev penalty.

Just wish the Reading players had put similar pressure on Ba yesterday

then you'd rather put a tenner that celtic will score at least 1. a fiver on celtic is good as flushing it down the toilet.

Now when you say 'see'... have you been in the away section there before? I went to see Arsenal lose 4-1 there once and you will probably need binoculars where you'll be sat!!
Best of luck for the trip/match

Re: Football (real)
Yeah heartbreaking is the right word. We certainly didn't look like 45/1 shots though did we.
Thanks man, it was a fucking epic trip regardless. I luckily remembered my new specs so the view wasn't too bad, what did suck was the stairs to get up there lol.

Re: Football (real)
You know, there was a time when I would think "who in his right mind would want to listen to a football match?" I was a little annoyed on Sunday, moral obligations forced me to the 11:15 AM Mass so I missed the first half of the Chelsea / United Manchester match. LIstened to the second half on the way to my NaNoWriMo kickoff party at the Book Revue. I was so glad that it took so long that the game was over before I had to leave the car.
Was the second yellow card deserved? Was he or was he not offside at the time of the goal? So hard to tell when you can't see a thing.
I can't wait until tomorrow ... I wonder how Man U stock is going to go?

Honestly over the last few days I have had so many people congratulate me and ask what is was like to be there etc etc. And I cannot explain for they cannot understand, this was a not a fleeting affair, this was a special moment in the greatest of relationships, this is what love is and if your looking for more noise head on over to Celtic park on matchday

p.s. no I have not sobered up yet
