If everyone is happy with this, i will proceed to once again "split" the maps.

No replies to this within 1 week (next Sunday my time) and the map will be split and the xml worked on.

Nitpick: the text for "The Julio Claudian Family" is ugly and kind of hard on the eyes. I think maybe you should add a faint stroke to it, also maybe darken the color of the text.

Edit:

At the bottom where you explain "Adoption Paths" you use the word "don't" twice in a row. Looks like a typo.

INkLOsed, thanks for the comment.
There was substantial work on this entire title area done some pages back to get the combination of text/colours correct for those who were inputting at the time. Unless there is absolute community uproar for over twenty players who feel the same way you do, then i would like to leave this as is. I am happy with it, i think it looks fine. :)

Really really nitpicky, but would you capitalize the "L" in "Let all the …" I know it's tiny
And I don't think you even need to wait a week, just a couple days should do it. Split split split!

Fixed. Please f5 to see those two changes.
Bare in mind, this change will not show through on the 88 xml centering maps until next time i re-do those. :)

The "adoption path" legend text looks strangely un-bolded compared to neighboring legend bits.

I think you might want to go over the text on the large map

all of the following have some overlapping letters:
Atia Caesonia
Gaius Octavious
Marcus Antonius
wife (in the legend under Family Unit Bonus)
Vipsania Julia
etc.

Glad to see this in the final forge.

These should be fixed below TNP? :)

Two things:

Small
888 completely covers "D" on Drusus
Move the box left 2px and the name right 1px if needed.
Also, I'm wondering if you could fit "Agrippinella" on one line?

Other than that you're good to go.

I would like to know why this map is still in final forge and not in beta.

It also brings me to state that you wonder why some people think there is favouritism in this place.

Poison Rome - Final Forged 4 April.
Indian Emplire - Final Forged 12 May

Poison Rome - Xml stamped 21 May
Indian Empire - Xml stamped - 21 May

I'd like public explanation as to why a map this is so, Andy.
And is this sour grapes, I can assure you definitely not. I am happy for oaktown's map that it's beta-ed.

I think that's it's still here because of the complexity of the map (more likely for underlying concerns) and the previous ruffle, which although sorted Andy just wants to make sure that everything's great. It's more complicated than the others, but I'm sure it'll be quenched in no time :)

Come on .44. I'm sorry but that BS.
Players have had plenty of time to comment on this, and regardless of the previous squabble, there is no better place to sort out complications and that sort of thing than to place it in gameplay. I know it will be quenched beta, you wonder why people scream discrimination.
And if Andy has these issues, why isn't he is there stating these concerns.
Your attempt at explanation doesn't wash i'm afraid, sorry.

Cairns, I sent you a message. Simply put---I overlooked the topic because I thought you hadn't fixed the two minor things Killing.44 brought up. That's all this was---nothing else. If you really feel like something is going on, lets discuss it in private---I'd like to keep the Foundry from becoming a Circus.

I'll attend to it all later.
