Like we say I can't see whether or not you did have it or not as the moment has passed?!

Not royal, normal straight.
Isn't it possible to check the part of the coding that specifies this bonus?

Actually - you're right...
This is the XML...
Code: Select all
<continent>
<name>Straight</name>
<bonus>6</bonus>
<components>
<continent>Straight from Ace to Five</continent>
<continent>Straight from Two to Six</continent>
<continent>Straight from Three to Seven</continent>
<continent>Straight from Four to Eight</continent>
<continent>Straight from Five to Nine</continent>
<continent>Straight from Six to Ten</continent>
<continent>Straight from Seven to Jack</continent>
<continent>Straight from Eight to Queen</continent>
<continent>Straight from Nine to King</continent>
</components>
<required>1</required>
<overrides>
<override>Three of a Kind</override>
<override>Two Pairs</override>
<override>One Pair</override>
<override>High Card</override>
</overrides>
</continent>
It's missing the continent "Straight from Ten to Ace"
And I know why... Our good friend Copy and Paste... I copied and pasted the "Straight Flush" - and of course 10 - A in Straight Flush - is a Royal Flush.
Apologies - I'll get a fixed version up ASAP... and great spot.

My bad i mean each territory

i get confused sometimes.
What i mean is that with the red and green colours its hard to see the armies on the territories when they are red and green

Righto...
Hmmm- bit confused that people can't see the difference between Red & Green on a white background?
Are you sure you're not colourblind? (I'm not trying to be offensive!)

I have very very good eyesight, yet have found that in 1v1s I have been almost totally lost without the BOB hovers. I think this is because the green numbers are very similar to the background, and the red numbers are very easily lost with all the red numbers on the cards.

OK - fair enough - I'll have a word with WM to see what we can do.
Cheers for the comments.

So apart from the visibility issues...
Any gameplay issues?

Just wanted to reiterate what others are saying about the visibility. You can tell, but seeing the colors and locations are hard. Grey centers or greying the cards will probably do it.

Played my first game on this board ... Under fog.. cool game.. Ok now with the issues.. First i held high card and received only 2 armies instead of three .. Second my opponent held straight flush and received 12 instead of thirteen.. Thirdly i think that each player should start with only one two or three territories .. he started a game with a pair on the drop under fog it seemed pretty even because he could not see me... without fog he clearly would have been a favorite...

Why come to the foundry and then ignore the actual thread for the map?
May as well post it in suggs and bugs anyway if you're doing that

You need to be a CA to edit threads in the foundry, so he cant merge it himself.

not that hard guys. notice that you get 1 army for holding a territory. add this to your bonus and voila. you've got the same total as shown in the legend.
