Seahawks and Broncos to play the Superbowl.

I expect both Conference Championships to be won by the home team, but these are all well matched teams and anything is possible.

The lesson for me is that I suck at picking playoff games.
I'm going to go ahead and do this now:
Patriots win.
Niners win.

The Pats have shown they are good enough to go all the way and it will be up to Manning to nudge his Broncos into the Super Bowl.
The Niners are good, but they were fortunate to escape with wins in their two playoff games. IF both teams play well? Seattle ends San Fran's season tomorrow.

I'm thinking Broncos & Seahawks, which is the Super Bowl
matchup I'd rather see anyways.
In playoff games it's now Brady 2 and Manning 2, with all wins on home turf
and the AFC Champion winning the Super Bowl (so far).
Broncos offense one punts the Pats out of the playoffs.

I picked 'em both right this week, and I'm taking Seattle to win it all.

So now its Denver vs Seattle. The wily Veteran vs the up and coming New Blood.
On one hand, Wilson is a good dual threat QB, on the other, it's Peyton freakin' Manning.
The Denver defense can be pretty stingy against the run, but has a tendancy to give up big passing plays. Seattle is terrifying at home, but far more vulnerable on the road.

Kudos to the Broncos Offensive line who allowed no sacks, no knock downs, no grass stains and just a single hurry up of Peyton Manning for the entire game yesterday. Their defense and special teams stepped it up when it counted most.
Wilson was mugged by the Niners Defense most of the game and the Seahawks will have to play a lot better to prevail in the Super Bowl. They blew their opportunities to get some separation in the second half and dodged a bullet on San Fran's final drive.
This is easily the best team Peyton Manning has ever played for and Seattle will be hard pressed to slow them down. Denver puts together another performance like yesterday's AFC Championship game and they will win the Super Bowl.

It's been a couple of years since there has been a team I'd sort of root for in the Superbowl. I'll probably root for Peyton, though I am not a Broncos fan.

I think they're calling it the Smoke a Bowl.
I'm rooting for the Broncos because I like Peyton, but unless it's not percipitating or extremely cold, I think the Seahawks win.

A Bronco win is certainly a fitting conclusion to Peyton Manning's awesome season and comeback from multiple neck surgeries. I expect to see the old goat's experience be the difference maker over the young gun.
All sentimentality aside, it would also be nice to see Seattle
win it's first NFL Championship.

It's a pretty tough game to call.
Denver's offense is second to none. Seattle's defense is better than very good and their offense isn't too shabby either. Denver's defense is suspect though, but that hasn't hurt them too much thus far.
I'm just glad that the two best teams made it to the Superbowl at least. I don't like either team in general, though certain players give me a chuckle.
I got nothing against Manning, but what's his name, Lynch, he cracked me up in a game earlier in the season. I guess he and the Seattle head coach don't/didn't get along very well. Seattle was playing Arizona in a Thursday night game and the Seahawks had the ball on the Arizona one yard line. Standing in the huddle the play call came in and it was for a play action, not a handoff to Lynch.
The Seahawks lined up and Lynch turned to the sideline, looked the head coach in the eye and flipped him the middle finger.
That made me laugh. Lynch did do all the heavy lifting to get them to the goal line. I think Lynch was just expressing what all the fantasy football owners were thinking of the coach.
So I'm fine with either team winning, or losing. I might even watch some of the game. I think Lynch and Seattle have a little bit more personality than the Broncos. Not that this makes any difference.

I'm rooting for Seattle.
Winning in the last inning with a free throw by Lebron.

I really don't want Seattle to win.
Not only because I picked 49ers to take it all, but on a far more important note.
I only root for original NFL teams and second-to-that, original AFL teams. Seattle is the worst kind of charlatan team imaginable. Not only are they an expansion team (the atrocity!!!), they are turncoat double agents and have infiltrated my precious NFC.
Denver at least is an original team of the AFL. I could argue that since they sucked in 1960, they will always suck.
So basically nobody is winning the Superbowl this year.
And fucking Bruno Mars?
The best superbowl ever (held outside in the North) has been totally ruined for me.

before I get a bunch of "I don't understand DoomYoshi" posts I will explain:
instead of imagining that merit should be rewarded
instead imagine that only nobility should be rewarded
the NFL season would be more interesting if the Pope decided who won, a la the Middle Ages
