I say this as a non colorblind people. The red on green makes alot of the numbers very hard to read without squinting.. particularly the 6.

That was largely unnecessary, mibi is very busy and is planning on updating this in his own time frame. Go bother someone else.

It was uncalled for him to post the map in black and white. Mibi being a graphic desinger of such high class would know what colour blind people experience day in and day out. And would respect that. But NO not from mibi.

Do u agree Mr Coleman?

I honestly have no clue what you are getting at, and would like to again request you go find something better to do until something notable happens here.

uh... I was legitimately curious as to what the map looked liked to a color blind person because the red and greens were of different lightness. I know many colors, red and green being two often fall into the same shade of grey when they are desaturated but this wasnt the case with these particular colors so i was curious if the color blind person saw a totally desaturated image or if the hues were entirely different.

either way i don't think me being a graphic designer should qualify as an expert on color blindness or any other disability.

oh and drop the sarcasm, its annoying.

Before I say this, I freely admit that I may sound insane.

I've been following this map for some time and am eager to play it once it's quenched.

But as someone that grew up on old war movies and documentaries, I almost prefer it in black and white. I know it's in final forge, I know it's way too late to suggest such a radical graphic change, but having just looked at the b&w map, it was too cool-looking for me not to add my two cents.

i think it's that the reds and greens often look as if they are the same colour or hue. it's not that the colour is removed, but that the difference between them is reduced significantly from that of a person who doesn't have red/green colour blindness.

i have a slight red/green colour blindness, and on some maps i have problems distinguishing reds and greens, but, personally, i have no problems with the numbers you have currently. however, i can see how some people may have problems reading them.

the red numbers had a black outer glow so i just increased to make the contrast better...

i think it's because the green is too dark

yes the green is dark, and the red numbers are surrounded by black to INCREASE contrast. if the greens were lighter, it would have similar lightness, it would be very hard to differentiate to a color blind person.

I think the baby's eyes need to be closer together and there should be a bigger bonus for holding the nose.

Am I too late? Is this baby already quenched?

Mibi...they might need to be brightened...or alternatively what about a light coloured fuzzy glow of some kind around them....i don't know, but they are difficult and i don't want to tell you what to do, perhaps you need to experiement with them a little so they become brighter.

perhaps its your screen cairns, red on black are very contrasting colors and numbers seem very legible to me. if other people have problems viewing the red numbers let me know. also the numbers on the large and small map are the same size. the black glow is even more pronounced on the small map so it should be even easier to see.

Mibi, fron what i've read, other people already have issues with this aspect. I don't think it's my screen.

Contrast between the three German Sections should be bigger, right now I'm having a hard time distinguishing the three.

you don't really need to distinguish between them. You don't get a bonus for them. But honestly, if you can't figure out which numbers belong to which area, then you might have bigger problems on your hands. Just saying.
