There's a patch out for FTL on GOG.
Geez...using acronyms like that makes me feel like I'm back in the military.

I attended a meeting that was titled*:
ABCs, CDEs, FGHs and other XYZ TLAs
Yesterday.

I started Neverwinter NIghts 2 again. AND THIS TIME I'M GOING TO FINISH. The Lawful Good Paladin (redundant?) Greekus Doggus will prevail against the Wailing and the Waterdhevians.

The only NPC I used through the whole game was the big-ass dude with the massive axe. I do not remember his name though.

Daelan something something. I'm using the thief (I was using the bard, but she keeps getting killed). I tried going the mage route, but I had to rest every 10 minutes which got really annoying.

Yeah, that's the guy. He is a serious kind of tank.

The monk is a better tank plus more fun. I used him with my Lawful Evil mage.

Re: What video/computer game are you currently playing?
Last night I bought:
To The Moon
Thomas Was Alone
Psychonauts
Braid
So far, these have all been worth the money. Thomas Was Alone has little replayability, but it has delightfully witty British commentary (maybe it's Jonesy?
) and is thoroughly enjoyable (even if you find it confusing how you'll emotionally connect with various rectangles) for the $2.49 I spent on it.
If you want an emotionally engaging game that takes you on a story about reliving one old man's past to fulfill his dream with him, To The Moon is exactly that. I'm only 30 minutes in and I just want to know more about what's going on in this man's peculiar life.
Psychonauts and Braid are famous enough that I won't bother with a summary (unless you'd really like one!)

That was a pretty sweet game, although the gameplay is just too dated. I tried it a bit ago and loading into the menu takes forever, random fight encounters, etc. It's a shame that my attention span as an adult doesn't compare as a kid.

Yeah, that's why I like the emulators for PC which allow you to fast forward.

Eve is arguably one of the greatest games every conceived.
However, the result of such an idea is quite the beast.
Basically its one of those situations where the pros and cons are one in the same.
I have a friend who is pretty heavily into it. He sets his alarm for 2am, and again at 5am so he can perform a "corp" operation (not all the time but an example of whats involved).
Id reccommend you try it (and do a lot of research at the same time) as thats the only real way to see if you'd like it; however it is certainly not a game you pick up on a whim. (its the opposite of casual gaming).

That's why things like WoW never really appealed to me...it turns a game into a job. Ugh.
