1. Small Map
2. Color Blind tests
3. Map with starting neutrals and starting amounts
4. Both maps with the 888 numbers on them

Update the OP with the above as well as the current page, and either RB0 or myself will take a look at everything.

Changes: Some borders were shifted around to make way for the 888's on the small map. Lots of moving of numbers, and small minor fixes.

The only thing I'm seeing that's an issue is the yellow of Suvalkija is the same as the yellow army numbers.

With the tides of change come additional requirements. Since this map began its journey under the assumption that 8 being the maximum amount of player, I won't ask the map be totally reworked to accommodate this, however, please note that a player cap may need to be imposed should it be discovered and/or deemed that the map can't handle player amounts over 8.

Also note that there are 5 new army colors, 4 totally new and a different shade of green for player #2. Please take this into account when doing graphics testing. All HEX codes are as follows:

    Red: FF0000
    Green: 006400
    Blue: 0000FF
    Yellow: FFFF00
    Pink: FF00FF
    Cyan: 00FFFF
    Orange: FF9922
    Silver: C0C0C0
    Purple: 9400D3
    Lime: 00FF00
    Amber: CD5C5C
    Olive: 688E23

Go with some trees. I would also go one further than ian and add some trees at Cesis to block that territ from Madona and Gulbene. My reason is one purely from a players stand point. I love the maps that give you choices and force you to make decisions on a way to go. But I will leave this extra one to you to decide on.

I would be ok with the first suggestion... the 2nd is ugh too much

bruce, u've said that u're not keen on the cesis trees, but are we still awaiting a delivery of trees for limbazi?

a spelling mistake to fix: letgale ought to be latgale.

without more trees, u'll need to find some other way to fix the small differential between the easiest and hardest latvian bonuses, for example by increasing riga to +6 at the same time as decreasing zemgale to +1, otherwise the riga bonus is destined to be ignored in most games.

Looks really good to me. Just a couple of small nitpicks:
- Jurbarkas could be moved over a bit to the right on both maps.
- Maybe fix the border that touches the end of Marijampole.
- I still think the dark inner bonus shading is a bit too much, mainly on the bottom three bonus areas (Samogitia, Auks'tatia, and Suvalkija). Since you haven't really acknowledged my two previous mentions I take it you are sticking with this, but for me, I would like to see those bottom three lowered in opacity a bit, or even blur them all out rather then just a "square" shade. Either way its just a matter of the eyes opinion, and I think the maps is very nice. Great work Bruce.

I can move the name. . You are right.

What about the border??

I will check into it and see what I can do to make it blend more. Not saying that I will go with it.

And not that you have to. You should absolutely go with whatever you like best. I just like more of a blended under border. And just to be clear, I'm talking about the shading that goes around each of the bonus borders, i.e. the shading that goes around Suvalkija, and Auks'tatia, etc.

I know it's two layers, a darker one and a lighter one that extends further, the darker one seems very square and rigid. I'm not saying to blur them out would look better, but it might.

To further answer... I am going to leave it as is. I like the look is uniform. I guess this is a personal decision. :)

The shadow dont bother me much, maybe only Vireland shadow, should be a bit lighter

Your name and fox should be smaller and and less proeminent.too bright. Remove stroke?

Without the stroke it looks very odd. I did test that idea, but it did not look good. I happen to like the name sizes. While some map makers do not like the whole name in lights on the map, some do. I wish to keep this one like so.

As for the vireland, I cannot lighten one or it will look out of place. :) Thanks for comments.

You can still have the names pop, but turning the black glow down would help give them pop without becoming overwhelming.
