I will be checking in on results and such over the weekend, but some of the freemiums are running behind a bit. I'm keeping track of it, and calling in reserves when necessary, but I'm trying to be patient with those who are making an effort to catching back up to pace.

It is true that Cornell lost just their second game of the season getting routed on a tough Poisen Rome away match. But Columbia is a tough team, ranked 10th at the time and Cornell shouldn't slip too much considering they also pounded #16 Virgina 92-58 and soundly beat Oregon St. 85-62.
One thing is clear from the first half of the season is that the Ivy league is the toughest conference in the land, boasting the best out of conference and vs. Top 40 records in the nation. The winner of the Ivy league should be a shoe-in for a #1 seed in March.

Good news for Miami Fla that achieves to No. 1 for first time. In spite of this, it will be very difficult to hold this position because the Atlantic Coast Conference is as hard as the Ivy League. It will be an interesting fight!

Texas feels the Phog! Texas was cruising in league play until running into the Kansas Jayhawks. Kansas wins 86-62, using the home field advantage of the Phog Allen Fieldhouse (Feudal War - damn I hate that map) to end the 5-game win-streak of the horns. Coach Caz had this to say - "The Jayhawks are a formidable team on their home court and we cannot wait for the rematch on a neutral court in the Big XII Tourney!"

Perhaps ironically, the worst NCAA league in real life has the best winning percentage here (the Ivy League). Unfortunately, I'm in that league.
