Final Forge

---The USA MapPack has reached the ‘Final Forge’ Stage. The map has passed rigorous gameplay and graphics examination, and major concerns have been addressed. If there are any other current concerns, please make your voice heard. If after a reasonable amount of time there has not been any objection or protest, the map will be deemed finished with the 'Foundry Brand' of approval and will be submitted for live play. As long as there is still discussion or posts that have yet to be commented on, the map will remain in Final Forge until said discussion has reached the conclusion that the map has reached its final and polished version.

Post questions and concerns if any.

Well I am not going to do Obama heads (very funny though) and I don't understand the shoes. I still think the long horn is a better icon.

Well I don't have a problem with changing them but is it really needed? I mean the long horn icon is also very good. If enough people think the boot are more appropriate then we can talk about it but I like the current icon for Texas.

Graphically, the Rockies' city names are very difficult to read, particularly on the navy blue states. Making the white glow a little stronger could help a bit, but it seems that the solution that worked for the other 5 maps doesn't match with the color palette unfortunately.

Love the maps, can't wait to play them

One small thing- Penn, NY, and NJ are not part of New England technically, it's only the rest of the states. Would northeast be more applicable? I don't mean to be nit-picky, but figured I'd comment with the speed things actually get pushed out of here once they get this far along

I know but they are in the current USA maps bonus region , New England. I am keeping the states group according to the current USA map.

Well on teh legend I switched to white text with a dark glow. I can do that for the 3 maps that are dark blue and see what happens.

While I was making the text changes to the dark states int eh Rockies map, I noticed the legend boxes were all messed up and fuzzy. SO I tweaked the lines a bit and redid the Large Rockies map.

THAT IS ALL I DID. No coordinate changes.

I will now go back and do these same tweaks to the legend boxes of the other 5 large maps.
