Indeed. But this holiday is so great, that no one wants to get away from it.

Down here it is called Mardi Gras

Oh yea, it is Mardi Gras but pretty much only Louisiana/New Orleans celebrate that, and by celebrate I mean get wasted.

I highly doubt Mardi Gras is the cause of everyone's inactivity though.

Well, I didn't really want to do it yet but this game has been kinda dragging the last few days so lets put alittle more pressure on Neut and see what he's got to say.

I'll unvote vote DN for his absence. (yes, I do realize that I'm being hypocritical here)

ok im back.
vote neut
it is obvious your pushing for me to be lynched, i defended myself and i know an important role of town member but id rather not let it out on day 2 for scum to know about that. but i will to defend myself. like i said it aint confirmed but i think (aparantly most people do to ) that it is a reasonable defence for now.

That puts him at -1. Unvote. He should probably roleclaim, or I'd at least like to hear more defense before someone drops the hammer.

That's why I said "as diddle said"... I was fully aware that you didn't support what diddle said, but wanted to make my point anyway.

Anyways, since you are all so intent on killing me, I might as well roleclaim. I'm a roleblocker. Blocked LSU last night, at random.

IF, and that's an if, Neut is a roleblocker, then LSU may be more likely to be town than otherwise. Why? Because there were what, 4 kills with 1 hider on night 1? It would seem that there were enough kills to go around, so IF LSU was blocked, he may be more likely to be innocent. Just a thought...what do you guys think?

That is because I didn't have net for the last 3 days. Got it back now, so have to read again. Sorry for this!

Long post coming. You have been warned!

LSU Tiger Josh on page 12 wrote:This early when it is against someone that does nothing to contribute to a game of mafia other then submarining and posting "i'm lost" I am very aggressive especially on day 1. If it was someone that I actually believe could be helpful in the game, I wouldn't bother being so aggressive on day 1 as I have no evidence on scum.

Something's not right with this. Why did he feel the need to point out that he doesn't have any evidence on scum? Its like he is stressing the fact he doesn't have any which only portrays that he has some! Call me paranoid or something but these are the small things that go unnoticed and actually give out significant clues but I'll leave you all to decide that.

kalishnikov wrote:We're not gonna hit scum Day 1, if we do it's pure luck.
I say finish off l-s and move on, day 1 is boring as hell.

How were you sure that we were not gonna hit scum? Its like you know who scum are and you made that statement knowing fully well that none of your scum-buddies were under pressure.
I know someone pointed out (ML?) the second point but I felt I needed to bring the attention to the first part.

dustn64 wrote:ok, well... rereading the last few (10) pages FOS all who have pointlessly jumped on the bandwagon give her time. I don't want to randomly kill the cop(or doc, or whatever) on day 1. And yes, I think she should be replaced. I don't want to vote for LV yet because he is usually a good mafia player.

I think this is a pointless FOS like FOSing for the sake of it. You can be fairly sure that Fircoal won't make someone who only has net access on the weekends, a cop or a doc.

dustn64 wrote:Oh Yea, FOS SL before I forget.

Again an FOS for the sake of it. You could have provided a better reason than "before I forget".

dustn64 wrote:ok, I am going to vote her. For the fact that she is only a survivor and the town will not lose much. Her role does sound cool though.
unvote

Vote LS

But Firth is still high on my suspect list.

His vote comes just after lifesaver's claim.

dustn64 wrote:I thought I would take out a fraction that does not even care about whether the town wins instead of randomly lynching nonvanilla protown player.

If I were survivor I would definitely care whether won or not. I survive and town wins, then I win too.

kalishnikov wrote:I don't think dustn is scum, I think he was just confused.

It was quite clear he was pushing her lynch but you still said he was "confused"?

kalishnikov wrote:Ok, back to the matter at hand: Sierra made a few good points and I'd like to wait for a comment on the matter by l-s before I make any decisions in that aspect. I will say FOS: crab, with a claim like 'extreme third-party commuter' that receives town-helping gifts, you can't expect people to be suspicious of it. Your FOS of Sierra sounds like a weak defense attempt of l-s OR you skimmed the thread pretty heavily for the last like 5-7 pages (probably it as you say you've been busy with exams). Either way an FOS is in order.

You probably didn't notice that I had FOSed Sierra for his bandwagin image and the large bold text accompanying it? Looks it was you who skimmed!

dustn64 wrote:WTF? I understand why you would have an FOS on me, but sierra made very valid points. Please elaborate.

Another skimmer

dustn64 wrote:Wow, big and convincing post. I'm not sure if I will make my vote yet though. LoVo and Kal should speak up.

This is the most suspicious of dustn till now. Its like you are downplaying a good argument and passing it off as "its a long post but that doesn't mean its true". And a bit of defending them? If you were interested in hearing their defense you would said that straightforward instead of going around and indicating to them an good argument has been put against them and they must respond to it lest we find scum!

lord voldemort wrote:yar im just reading now...it does sound convinving, i know im not scum. and there is a way for my claim to be proven but it requires outting an important town role.

ehh??

lord voldemort wrote:the whole me and kal thing. i think thats just timing. also me and kal are 2 decent enuf players that if we were both scum we wouldnt link ourselves like this intentionally

Exactly! And you didn't realize it until MountainLion pointed it out! Also you can also use WIFOM and say the opposite too.

firth4eva wrote:Well ML your FOS on me is wrong because I just skimmed the hell out of Day 1 because it was a fircoal game and his day one's can be very stupid.

And that is why you deserved an FOS?

kalishnikov wrote:I ALWAYS push for a lynch, every game, every day. If you were in the last few games I've been in (sorry for the metagame here) you'd be pretty fed up with inactives and submariners dragging the game to a complete stop which leads into my reasons for wanting to follow through with the l-s lynch, if you've played with her before you'd know she was useless in a mafia game, the quoted posts taken out of context can very easily be bent to look like they were protecting LoVo, sure, but pretty much any series of posts removed from their original pretext can be spun whichever way the quoter likes.

Can you point out what posts of yours were taken out for context and
how?

LSU Tiger Josh wrote:Vote Cena basically all he did in day 1 was post a vote on life saver and then a 2nd post to say that he'll post more on day 1. Neither of those posts were groundbreaking thoughts. Good research on the game so far though ML although I don't think both of them are scum as they are experienced enough to not get themselves linked like that on day 1.

And you were trying to start a bw when the heat was still there on lovo and kalish? Pretty scummy imho.

I think thats concludes my thoughts and observation until page 25. Will try to complete tomorrow due to time restrictions now.

Hrm. I'm not sure about the Dustn lead since I can't really get a read on based on these few comments, but the LSU one looks interesting. In any case, he needs to tell us whether he's been roleblocked or not.

Well, I could take the time to go through those miscellaneous quotes by you crab and reply to each with care, or I could just say screw it and let you come to any conclusions that you like about that.

Maybe I'm scum, maybe I'm not; honestly though based on my play this game I'd say I'm a SK, possibly third party playing the low-key townie role.

Your questions toward me are inane, it would be just as relevant to answer a 'top 10 favorites' question then yours right now. They're all pointless answers that prove nothing about nothing. It's not worth the time, to be honest, think I'm scum if you must...

Oh and I don't skim, if I'm not sober (which I am regularly) I have been known to miss things, but I very rarely skim.

Look up.

As to Neutrino, I'm still suspicious of him. A roleblocker is an easy role to just role claim and then use LSU as a back-wash.
