well it's more that "pays your bonus" doesn't make sense

Oh. I guess I don't agree with you, then :P

I'm fine with "pays your bonus", but I feel that the way it reads right now may make some people think that multiple hands pay bonuses - those people would be stupid for thinking so, but stupid people do exist. I see no downside to adding the word "only" in, which clears out all ambiguity. If ONLY your best hand pays your bonus, then you clearly only get a bonus for one hand.

well I think the 'only' isn't totally necessary but it does add emphasis which adds to the clarity of the statement. So, I'd definitely say it's smart to add it.

saying that "your best hand pays your bonus" makes it seem like you work for a guy named hand and he's the one who gives you your christmas bonus. Basically, pay isn't a synonym for determine so to use that word is confusing. I would say especially so for non-native speakers.

"Your Best Hand Pays Your Bonus" hardly makes any sense

it's not like he HAS to do what I say so what the hell is the harm in trying to make it more clear?

No, there are just 6 pages of discussion on this topic already... I don't think the only is necessary.

Just seems like you are bringing up a topic that was already decided.

I think it makes sense. Your hand is what your bonus is.

I like the map and idea a lot, but while playing it it was hard to distinguish what territories my troops were on. I'm shure this is a minor thing but maybe adding a ring around the troop placement or something to make it pop a little more when you look at it would be great.

I like this one, a lot. Just the part on teh side is annoying, the one that explains what a two pair is, but that's only because I'm a poker fanatic :P

Had a look at your game. You had a Flush, which gets you more armies

Ah, bit hard to check now. Do you remember with which 5 cards you started the game?

Game log doesn't contradict that (except for that 3, which was a 4 ;) ), but you didn't use the Jack or the Queen you speak of in the first rounds, so it's impossible for me to check. You'll have to wait for Yeti_C to reply, I suppose.

I'm playing a game where I had a Royal Straight A-10...

Like we say I can't see whether or not you did have it or not as the moment has passed?!
