lol to teya....
I think the foundry is split 50-50 on the background on this one. You have lightened/blended it some what. Well done.
I think its impossible to blend anymore without losing the direction u feel the map should be heading in. So lets move on
These wath i say,and here its imposible that someon be confuse background with terittory names.

Im not a fan of the tunnel entrances. I think they could probably be done better.
I think the Anti tank and infantry barrier (which you have spelt incorrectly) need work but as you have said, you havent made a final decision on them.
The colours that are under where you will put the bonuses I think need to be a bit darker/brighter, it is hard to tell which colour is which.
Other than that, I cant really see much that needs to be done.

i dont really care either way, im just saying the grid looks dumb. maybe historians may pick up on its accuracy or something.
also, whats up with those 4-ways.

Maybe I should've said more authentic instead of realistic. The mage below explains what I meant by latitude and longitude lines. At the bottom you can see coordinates...
I realy dont know why you create problem ,when problem dont exist, i put word coordinate in corner bigger to you and Mibi can better se. I think that background coordinate problem solve.
Qwert the last thing I want to do is cause problems for your map or maps for that matter. I was just trying to throw ideas around with you. Kind of like brain-storming...
The background looks strange to me because
I have no idea what those big numbers and little letters are suppossed to represent. That is why I have been trying to help you create something that is more recognizable to the majority of people who will be playing this map.
My suggestion was to use longitude and latitude for a reference instead of the graph you currently have. I have no idea what the graph you selected represents so I was just trying to help out a little.
I like the new colors, style and everything else except for the background simply because I have no idea what it represents.
*edit - I think the word top secret should look like it was stamped on to give it more of a proffesional feel, but that's totally up to you and I could go either way with it. Just another suggestion.

yes it's basically the same map, but it doesn't have any big number boxes with small letter boxes inside of those. It has longitude lines with numbers and if you add that along with latitude lines and numbers the map might look a little cleaner.

I also like tunnel 1 and barrier 4. However I think they stand out too much and sort of float on the map.

I know the copy I posted looked like crap, but it was just to give you an idea of what I was laking about with longitude and latitude lines.
The best way I could explain it would be if you looked at a globe. You'll notice the longitude and latitude lines traveling through it. You already have longitude lines with numbers and I think latitude lines with numbers would be all you need instead of a bunch of big numbers and little letters everywhere. It's your call though man. If you rather keep it this way then so be it, but I still think you could come up with something better even if you don't use my idea. I guess I just don't really care much for the current background other than the lines (grid) traveling through the map.

apparently that was because the character for "island" in japanese can be said "shima" or "jima" or "tou". it was an error.
