Yeah, that helps for the non playable regions.

The lake in Estonia, I mean the lake that borders Dorpar and Sakala and Virona.

And by the pixely border I mean the one that borders the nonplayable area and the rest of the map. The one with Greater Novgorod.

If you clean the colored stripes up a little, like making them cover the whole word, then I could go with it.

The other this I think you ought to add is in the cities legend, stating that they cross rivers.

Are those coloured stripes really needed?
It looked fine to me without them.

If they are needed, you need to make the one for Gotland thicker, to fit all the text into.

As i mentioned to you earlier (via PM), Livonia and Wenden could create some problems, specially because the city is surrounded by trees (impassables). It's no clear to me that the brown part under Wenden belongs to Livonia and not to Wenden. I'd suggest you to remove some trees (probably the three on the left of the city are enough) and then draw a small portion of land where you've now that small river, to create a visible connections between the northern and the southern part of Livonia.

A side note: I prefer the lighter version but without the stripes, even if they really help to match the bonuses.... :-k

In the legend, the coloured line under Gotland is still not covering the whole heigth of the text. No big problem, but it looks a bit off.

I'm totally interested and I think the map is looking great. I actually feel like I've been waiting for this to go to the forge forever.

Well, what really held things up was that you had two versions of a map, one by you and one by Pork, and one would gather criticism and then the maps would switch.

Plus you have nothing on you're first page and have apparently deleted your drafts...

Furthermore, Nobodies just pointed out the colorblind issue... but really, fix the color blind issue and i expect you'll be on your way.

And it hasn't even been a year yet. 13 Colonies was over year before Beta, same for South Africa. Not to mention the many many other maps out there that take a great deal of time. Don't get disheartened, you're map isn't taking any more longer than anyone else's has, though some maps do move faster.

positive, good Helix... :)

I think only my version is valid. pork was not here longer time and he did not edit your version of map...

I deleted some of my posts, but I will finished this map because guys as you, nobodies and some else who helped me (and still helping). just I have not feeleing that there is enough interest in my maps...

The interest is there... the foundry just has a bad way of showing it.

Agreed. I'm most always interested in new maps---even if I don't think I'd play on them!

You have to have the courage of your convictions. If you think it's a map worth making, it's worth proceeding; I can guarantee once it is into Beta it will quickly get played and you'll know whether it will be popular or not. Like it or not, the foundry is a very small place compared to cc so you're working with a small audience until the beta period begins.

Aye to this and what DanRyan said. I was involved this when it started, but got drawn away by real life. This project, along with few others, is one of my favourite ones and even if i don't post often, i still keep an eye! You're almost there :)

I think I've said it before... but I've found that every time you find yourself stuck with a lack of feedback, just keep updating your map, make some changes - use your own judgement... then people will either like the changes or they will hate them, but either way, you'll get the feedback flowing again...

And by "before" he means in my case, and it's good advice ;)
