If your too slow to join games for whatever reason then you are left with whatever maps are available.

There was around 1100 - 1200 games originally made...

You really need to do a game finder search for ha's 200th tournament with game detail as RD 7 and make sure at the top you click all boxes ( waiting for players, active, finished) so you get the true picture of all maps available for this round.

HA is doing a great job, he does not need people complaining about map choices available to each individual each round.

I believe HA posted earlier a figure that was between 600-700 as to how many players were left.

The map selections for this round were based (not exclusively) on 10 players posting a map with settings. That should be plenty player participation. Especially seeing as there is a popular medal out there for winning on most different maps. If you insist on playing only a few select maps, you have to get in early. If you insist on one or two maps, you are going to have to expand your game horizon.

If you find this unduly harsh, tough. Would have been more so if I hadnt had a bit of time to dwindle my annoyance to a more appropiate level due to having missed the bit about rd 7 and round 7 being different so that HA can still sort without problems.

But really... In a 2500 player tournament, you complain in BIG BOLD LETTERS that the maps dont suit you. Even if HA did only one kind of map for a round, that would just be part of the challenge of the tourney. Maybe (s)he? should do all random maps next round... . - I guess it would help a little bit on the still massive workload, not hugely so, but Im guessing noticable.

Won 2 out of 3 (one of my winning games 9460247), look forward to next round.

Sad to say I'm not moving on HA. It's been great - through 7 rounds with 13 different map wins, then 0-3 in the 8th. Good luck to all those moving on.
