I don't have free slots, so I entered just one game in this round, and I won, technically, the other guy was kicked out for missing turns, but he played deploy...
So, does this mean I go on, or I should wait free slots for 2nd/3rd game,
Please, PM about this Mr. HA
Same thing happened to me. Guy was about to beat me for my 3rd loss of the round, and then deadbeated!!! I couldn't believe it.

HighlanderAttack wrote:Round seven is closing up soon. I may make a few doodle games still but not sure. It really depends on deciding who needs make up games due to holidays and such. I am trying to give everyone a chance to get their games in. I did receive many pm's about summer break trips and vacations so I am giving a little more time to join games. Because of my real life schedule I have basically let the last few rounds play longer than normal or at least leave the games up longer than normal. There will not be any more bounties this round. I would say you have until Sunday to join games, and it will take me a few days after that to organize this tourney. Then we can start getting ready for round 8 (which I won't be playing in
)
HA, I like the pace of this tourney so far. I think the rounds have lasted the right amount of time. I've been able to finish my games up pretty quickly, but I like having a couple weeks off between tournament games. Probably wouldn't normally, but it seems fitting for a tournament of this size to give people a couple/few weeks to get their games in. I know that I'd certainly appreciate that if (as has happened and will likely happen again) I went on vacation for a week. If this was a democracy, my vote would be for keeping it at the same pace.

This round is basically over if games are still up and you have not played I suggest getting in them
Round seven is closed out and round 8 starts this early next week as long as all the games are complete

Round 8 is upon us. I am taking down round seven games if they have not deleted. Round 8 should start Monday or Tuesday. We have now reached a part of the tourney where I would expect games to be up for no more than seven days. I have to do updates and see how many bounties are left. If games are still up I will leave a few so you may have a short time left to join round seven games, but probably less than a day. EDIT IT HAS BEEN TWO WEEKS AND THE GAMES HAVE DELETED AUTOMATICALLY--ROUND SEVEN IS OFFICIALLY OVER

On a side note, Lindax and I are playing an all map series for the fun of it. He is a great player on this site and we have decided to challenge each other on all 185 maps--go here and predict the winner. If you predict the exact score you will win a three month premium.

2 games.
One foggy thats a bit hard to call, but looks like a fair sized advantage from the region count.
And 1 that Major Pain should have probably already won and still will win, although it may take 2 or 3 rounds now that he has stacked 23 units on Missile Launch and passed the turn

You could just turn this into a policy. Just let every round end when the games auto-delete... that will create a natural time limit that you don't have to artificially enforce.

he is doing this as a courtesy to the freemiums, so they can play a game and see how it goes. Due to limited slots they often have 1 slot free, not 3...
And to those players who play only 1 game a round but want to get to the next round too...

Some stats:
Players
round1: 2507
round2: 2057 -> 82% of round1
round3: 1687 -> 82% of round2
round4: 1398 -> 83% of round3
round5: 1147 -> 82% of round4
round6: 932 -> 81% of round5
round7: 776 -> 83% of round6
so about 82% advancing each round.
if we continue like that the winner will be found in round x:
2507*0,82^(x-1)=1
x=ln(1/2507)/ln(0,82)+1= 40,43
We already played 7 rounds, so we just have to play more or less 33 rounds to find the winner

Well i think things shall end slightly faster then that. It's not hard to win a game when you have 3 tries, but as things go on the less skilled players tend to disappear. Some players will be finding it harder and harder to get by. i say another 15 or so rounds
