that was official a long time ago dont tell me your just figuring it out now

Barce were not on their game, i mean they still had 72% possession but they never did anything meaningful with the ball. Messi was coming deep to try to create anything his helpers werent on form tonight. Barce defending for set plays is awful. Khidera's goal was sloppy and should have been easily cleared. Even barce own goal was lucky it took a very lucky deflection into the goal. Ronaldo's finish was class straight after they just conceded.

BINGO!

I've been saying he's crap since his early days with Barca! He added nothing to Frank Rijkaard's Barca style. say formation and same domination. He's so poor tactically!

As for today's game, his team made too many mistakes and his own mistakes were so terrible. It's ABC of football that you have to try distant shoots when you are behind and the opponents have a tough and tight defense. Tello was terrible in the left and it took Guardiola ages to replace him. He rather replaced Xavi once he started shooting!!! As you said, RM's first goal should have been easily and immediately cleared. Barca have been repeating their defensive mistakes over and over. They always underestimate the oppositions. A shit leveled teams in La Liga keep Barca's mistakes covered and hidden. They have been obvious today when they met a big team.

To be fair with the man, he can't be totally horrible. We must credit the good part of his work. He seems to be a great man in locker room and behind the scenes in general. He got rid of trouble makers like Ronaldinho and Eto'o. That enhanced the team a lot especially with Messi's rise to his peak. After that, he failed to keep up the development and just depended on his amazing superstars who have been in an awesome harmony and integration for years!

Im confused are people trolling about pep? As far as I am concerned his team were the best to ever play football. Maybe not right now, but when you look at the way they tore apart teams scoring 5 or more with ease in the last few years, fucking brilliant.

Agreed. I know people love to see successful teams/people failing from time to time but to suddenly denounce Guardiola as "crap" is fucking ridiculous.

Guardiola is not a great manager his team does all the work for him. all he has to do is put messi xavi inesita and 8 other players on the pitch and they will control the majority of possession and score a few goals. he isnt a tactially good manager atleast any time i watch barce play the use the same formation all the time and any time they were struggling Guardiola never changed it up or made a tactially good substution. you could stick a 5 year old as manager of barce and they'd still win more games than they'd lose.

and fyi i hate real which makes barce the natural team i like in la liga i have nothin against the team just the manager as any time he has to actually think tactially he fails.

Yeah I so agree with ya sniper... you measure a manager when he has a real test not when his team dominates Mallorca or that like.. We've always said Pep sucks, even when he was at his best times. It's all about the amazing players he got!

The fact Barca stick to the same style even when losing says a lot about the confidence he puts in his team. The have great success and they achieve it by trying to play total football for 90 mins and somehow this is the mark of a poor manager?

YES! it's mark of a poor manager! Football doesn't recognize trusts and stuff like that. you can either win or lose. If you can't switch to different tactics when you are in trouble, then you suck.

I wouldn't say Pep is a bad manager, I'd say he's unproven.

I don't like the fact that he keeps his future with Barcelona FC a mystery. I think that brings uncertainty for his players. I read it like this: he wants to leave before the fall begins so that people can blame the fall on another coach and not in him, and people will say stuff like "Barcelona FC was the best until Pep left".

Pep was a great player and a coach in the field. He probably has his signature in the way Barcelona plays but as others say he is unproven. In his team play Messi, Xavi and Iniesta, those 3 players could do of any other team a great team.

You missed the point of "success". The fact that he doesn't change tactics and still often wins trophies shows that his tactics may in fact be superior to that of other teams. Granted he needs the players to play this style.

I meant he doesn't switch to another tactic during the game. No live or flexible change in his team style when he is behind.

Also @ Nitto: Mess, Xavi and Iniesta are not the only amazing players Barca have.

Quiet you! Bloody Everton, in fact no, scratch that, bloody complacency! Unbelievable to surrender a 2 goal lead with 10 minutes left, just shocking!

Still reckon United will win league but results like this cause more squeakiness than necessary!

What should they do, play long ball to Messi?

Meh, many things could have been done. Examples:

1. Start using distant shooting when your opponents defend tight, and you can't invade the box.
2. Quit making the right wing +90% of your attacks when it's not working.
3. Replace Tello after too many mistakes.

nietzsche, the voice of reason in this thread, has decided to end this discussion.

Guardiola has many things that we all hate: he speaks catalan when he could speak spanish, he started dressing like he's in the Calcio and if you were watching a game with a girl she would say he was handsome, which i hate to hear from a girl, that other guy is handsome, also he has taken a lot of credit for what his players do in the field. And above all he's part of Barcelona FC.

But unfortunately, with him Barcelona FC has won many a tittle and has risen to the top of the world. If we belittle him, we sound like haters. Let's wait for time to put him in another team and in a difficult spot, when everyone abandons him, then we can get all together and critizice him, then we'll look awesome.

Good point.. now that I think about it, if he had a tiny penis it'll be all ok! Everytime someone would mention his success all I'd need was to remember that he has a tiny dick! LMAO

And if a girl say "Guardiola is handsome" I could say to her, "but he has a tiny penis" lol.
