And BTW, I said alternator as it is a synonym to redirector, as I didn't want to say my true role
I think my block of you would have superseded your redirect, so I don't think that would have changed anything.
I don't know what would have happened if Dazza had blocked me. If he had blocked epi, then I would have killed mitch instead, and you guys would still have had a chance.
Everyone else seemed to understand what an "altenator" did. Why not say the actual role?

I made a mistake in that I was pretty sure I had aage nailed after D1, but I should have actually made my suspicions clear in the thread in addition to using my investigation on him. Seriously though after that exchange with Tim it was so blatantly obvious he was scum... come on guys, step it up

I was hopeful my D1 play would lead mafia's attention elsewhere (when I'm a strong town power role, I like to start shit up so that mafia will hopefully keep me around to continue causing drama for them), but I guess you can't account for every possibility.

Gg scum.
Town had no chance after N1.
Im not even going to ask questions about the set-up/order of events,it would probably just be even more frustrating.
Deg fooled me completely and will get my vote.
Even if he wont use the credits he earned the title.

Wolf posted the order of events, you got it on the page before this one.
Unbelievable series of events happened N1:
1. Streaker was aiming aage for a kill
2. I redirected him to mets
3. Mets also targeted aage, but Streaker kills him instead of aage
4. Mafia kills Streaker
My redirect N1 influenced the whole game... and made mafia win...

Actually, I'd get premium again if my map ever goes Beta, so I could have a use for the credits.
The weird thing was, I was being almost entirely honest with my reads & actions regarding everyone except aage and epi. I would have pushed harder on aage for being scummy, and epi for being absent too much.

Wait your still working on the whodunnit map?
I thought that was abandoned with the rest of the foundry.
Kinda the same reason i stopped attempting to get the beta medal,i thought the foundry was closed.

They recently made a push to get some more testers for the beta site - as usual, they probably didn't advertise it as well as they could have.
My map is up and running over there - I think of it as an Alpha phase. A lot of games have been played - it works pretty well, but still needs some kinks worked out of the gameplay. I just made an update with some modifications.
Become a beta tester if you want to try it out. Some other new maps are playable there, too.

Well, I was right about aage... completely missed on his buddies though, so even if aage was lynched instead of me, we would have lost it the next day anyway. Gg to scum

Though note that deg was roleblocking me anyway, so I wouldn't have had a definitive result on aage on D2.

The funniest thing to me is how close those perfect events that unfolded for mafia N1 almost didn't happen. Aage originally wanted to bus Streaker which would have killed him and saved streaker now with a redirector as a recruit (for the record Dakky would have remained cult even if Streaker died later) among other chain reactions.
I went with First Foundationer because through out the series of books there are maybe 8 major town names: Bayta Darell, Arkady Darell, Hari Seldon, salvor Hardin, Hover Mallow, Ducem Barr, Golan Trevize, bliss and Janov Pelorat and I wanted to give at least two of them as fake claims (I gave Golan to mafia and Hari Seldon to Streaker). The other reason is as I said I was keeping flavor light. I said this more than once.

Long story short: if i didn't redirect Streaker N1, he would have killed aage and your action wouldn't have a definite result anyway, as your target would be dead anyway... and I would be recruited to a cult with Streaker. Nothing of these happened because of my (wrong) redirect N1...

Can I just say I was really surprised and impressed by the pace of this game (almost 28 posts a day for 11 days and that's including nights when no one was talking. WIthout nights closer to 44 posts a day). Sure we didn't make 20 pages but for as much trouble as I had getting it started and the limited time it lasted we did pretty well. I think this is the first game I have seen in a while where the deadline was only a minimum impact on the two lynches and if circumstances had been better, may not have been as much on the second lynch.
I may reuse the pawn role in future games but probably in situations where there is more than one investigative role so that there is more incentive to act on the ability rather than play it out like a mafia goon. I kind of like the roles that mess with the game as long as they don't reach bastard role levels.

Ah well. Was very dissapointed I didn't get to play the SK (my first time with that role) to a bigger extent, but that's ok.
I even had Seldon as fake claim!
Managed to read Aage as scum on D1, and dakky as a town that I wanted to recruit. So many what ifs there.
Gonna read the mafia QT now.

Nothing was moving D1 and I could only see one of you, tim and mitch being kynched who i read as all town. So I just made stuff up, they werent reads just something to kickstart the game. Probably wont happen again, as I shouldnt be suiciding like that.
I was deadly serious about not lynching you or tim D2 though........

GG, everyone. That couldn't have worked out better for scum, but sometimes that's just how it goes. I actually didn't mean to be as absent as I was but RL gets busy sometimes (it also hurt at night as I couldn't contribute as much). If I was around more, I was actually planning on defending Tim a lot more. Oh well.
Thanks for hosting, strike!

MVP voting closed. Degaston wins.
Well deserved on honestly. All of mafia played well and Aage was definitely the leader but was really impressed that you played so well with so little experience.
Please remember to vote for any two other performances you felt were good on the losing side. I know it's a short game to judge on that matter.
