"Map: Every player selects his own preference (it has to be an 8-players map and cannot be a beta map)."

Surely maps like Doodle Earth and Arms Race are hardly 8 player maps....

You are right that they are not best suited for being 8 player maps, but they CAN be 8 player maps.

My idea is to allow everybody to pick his own prefered "ideal" map choices (except for FoW and Freestyle) that is why I allow to pick any map, including very small maps like Doodle Earth, maps not best suited for 8 players like Arms Race or very complicated maps like Waterloo.

The only reason why I don't allow Feudal War and the few others is because they don't allow to create a game with 8 players. If those maps allowed 8 players, then they could be choosen.

The tournament will begin on April Wednesday 22nd.

We already have the required 256 players for the tournament, but you can still join. If we reach a threshold of additional players by the date the game starts, I will add a Round 0.

288 --> I will add a Round 0 in which the top 7 players of each group will pass
336 --> I will add a Round 0 in which the top 6 players of each group will pass
408 --> I will add a Round 0 in which the top 5 players of each group will pass
512 --> I will add a Round 0 in which the top 4 players of each group will pass

Currently we have 263 players.
