Oh wait, that means you do know how things work. Or rather, how the thing works. *wide grin*

Since the rouge killed(or so I believed) I assumed the thing chose to recruit.

Because I don't yet suspect you enough to lynch you...

Hmm, I think I believe ga7.

My reasoning is this:
The only way ga could have pulled this off as scum is if he was the original thing and assimilated the doctor night 1. However, if he did so, then he would have no reason to not try to kill/assimilate ace tonight. That would have clearly been the smart move, so unless ga is pulling the WIFOM of the century as well as got super lucky with a night 1 assimilation, I don't think he could be scum. That also means that the doctor is probably still on our side.

That said, I'm not sure who would be a good choice to pressure today.

I'm inclined to believe ga7, because why the hell would he claim what he did if he were scum? I can tell you why he wouldn't:

1) It would draw attention to him, something scum don't normaly want. In a game like this, it would be a lot easier for the scum to lay low and let the townies lynch each other.

2) He would be better off waiting and letting one of his scumbuddies claim doc if they were ever accused.

3) Sooner or later, when the doc doesn't turn up, people would surely begin to suspect him.

Also, fifth makes a valid point. Wouldn't he have killed ace last night if he knew there was no doc to worry about?

Not exactly, he could be lying about the doctor protecting him, thus trying to lure the doctor out. So the doctor could just be in the crowd keeping quite.

I think that the doctor would come out and tell us he is lying so we could lynch him, unless you have info that says otherwise?

Ga7 is pretty much at a deadlock, i think we should leave him alive for now and think about lynching him at a further date

It was precised the PM I received was sent to me, the doc and the thing, so yes the doc would know if I was BSing. Guess what, the doc isn't coming out.

Did you just skim my post or did I strike a nerve? Which one is it uh?
This is a detail, but your way of explaining that is far less clear. What about the rest of my post? Do you have any viable arguments besides "oh I NO! the doc is a moron that doesn't want to come out and is waiting to be NKed instead of outing him as scum!!1!"?

drake_259 wrote:Ga7 is pretty much at a deadlock, i think we should leave him alive for now and think about lynching him at a further date

Again, you can't say I'm a deadlock without presenting ANY argument against my post.

Moving on, I still want to hear from Stroop and the bunch of inactives, but seeing Will's blind reaction I might be for once right in my feeling heh.

Well its either you are who you say you are or its that you were the doctor and got turned by the thing, either is likely as the other which means its a deadlock for the time being. i also said to keep you alive because just in case you are telling the truth, it could be handy keeping you around

I didn't skim your post, I just responded to the only argument that actually needed to be replied to.

I explained why I was on both wagons on page 22. As for being in the middle... someone's gotta be there?

Overall scumminess, eh? I suppose that just naturally comes with the bandwagons :-s

I agree with this. Though I find the scenario that ga7 was the doc unlikely, if no doc turns up by the endgame, we'll know who to lynch. But until then, I think it's best we keep him around.

The only problem with that is by end game any of the "things" could possibly still try to claim that.

From what I've seen, I'd say that William's knee-jerk reaction to ga7 is our biggest lead. Given the nature of the voting system and the fact that we still have around 2 weeks, I'll refrain from placing my vote on him and instead will encourage discussion on the matter.
