pft. I have never played the map either and there is nothing wrong with it from my opinion. How hard is to read a frikin legend? It tells you everything you need to know to make it just like any other map.
I am more concerned about Rail USA, that map seems to be asking to become a build game.

I have played Rail Europe once, and I can read a legend. There are just so few movement options and so many territories that to kill people off takes a lot of attack paths, and I end up spending a long time making spreadsheets like this:
It's a giant hassle, and takes a lot of the fun out of the game!
Although I am interested in seeing the formulas you use, there is a much simpler way.
Plug all of those into Gambit, then just multiply the results. No need for a spread sheet or anything. Besides, don't you have to do that in any escalating either way?
I kind of like the slow game, makes things much more interesting when cashes get a lot higher. I also like foggy escalating. Will include them in the next set.
